This place is really dreadful. Not in a good neighborhood with a strip joint right next door with a rough crowd around. I am a frequent traveler to Europe, Asia and all around the U.S.. do yourself a big favorite and avoid this rundown, dated location. sheets were stained, tiles cracked, furniture worn. staff unconcerned when we expressed our disappointment.... The room was relatively clean but very dated. The beds were horrible not sure they were even real mattresses, more like a cardboard box. Only had to spend one night here so it was not much of hassle but would definitely dissuade any one from an extended stay here, very expensive too.

Thank You for your feedback! I'm sorry you didn't find the beds very comfortable. We want you to know we continue ordering new organic cotton mattresses with a premium support comfort that we think will work out very well for all guests in the future. We do feel our rates are fair compared to any other all-suites hotel in the... More

I was sooo thankful that I went by this hotel to check it out before choosing your typical chain hotel. This is like staying at a friend's very nice, clean apt for the weekend. Or a bed & breakfast without the feel that someone is sleeping in the next room (which I don't like the B&B closeness). This is fully... More

Dingy Location. Literally, next door to a bustling strip club named "Sugars", and, possibly, an abandoned mall. Old Apartments converted to a hotel. The hotel room I stayed in hadn't been updated since it was built in the 70's or 80's. The most uncomfortable mattress known to man. The hotel grounds itself seem to be fairly maintained. But, hey, slap... More

We stayed here as a result of a priceline reservation. It is quite out of the way near a mall that is closed, and few other shops or restaurants. It is not a well lighted property, which was mentioned in a couple of reviews. The buffet breakfast was good but I wouldn't rave about it. Fruit was mostly canned, not... More

We stayed here for my fiance's inauguration into the Texas bar. We were looking for a cost effective location where his mother could stay also. A two bedroom suite at any other hotel would have been expensive. This was perfect. Also, being vegetarian, it fit right into our personality. We stayed in the king bedroom downstairs, mom stayed in the... More

This place is like a second home to us. It does not feel like we were staying at a hotel. We had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, and full size kitchen. It was very peace and cozy. We slept very good and there were no noises or complains during nighttime. Very peaceful. Breakfast - was very good! Daily is... More

This is a re-purposed apartment complex. This means that it has beautiful grounds, and ample sized rooms. (Especially the 2 bedroom!) The prices for such nice spaces are less than other hotels! The breakfast was some of the best I've had at a hotel, with an actual chef cooking the food at the moment you order it. the pool is... More

I would stay there everyte I am in Austin. We were treated like family. We were catered to and respected. You would think you would pay so much more for such a wonderful stay, but it was very reasonably priced. Great place

We stayed at Habitat Suites for three nights on a recent business/personal trip to Austin. We chose Habitat purely on the cost we were able to secure through Orbitz. We really only needed a place to sleep, and for that, Habitat was relatively ok. However - I will advise to bring ear plugs. We stayed in room 1216, which is... More
