The place is kind of cool, it looks like an apartment building they converted into a hotel, but the front desk guy said it was built that way. The stove and refrigerator are originals, 1985, but no big deal. The bed was comfortable and room was big, so I can overlook the outdated everything, the wallpaper coming off the wall... More

My husband and I had to drive from SC to Austin for a family medical issue. From the initial booking, the hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. They gave us a good deal for an extended stay that was very reasonable considering a race was in town that had caused the hotel rates throughout the city to skyrocket. We loved... More

It was like staying in a condo. Beds were very comfortable, a lot of pillows provided. The suites offered a small kitchen area with frig. stove and dishes if you stayed in. The best part was quiet time. It was quiet from 9-9. This is a plus for us people who don't like being woken up by people coming in... More

From the minute we checked in until the minute we checked out, the entire staff was so helpful, kind and just extremely pleasant. They offered help in many ways.... recommended places for us to dine, offered to place order for us, helped carry bags, etc. They went way above and beyond our expectations. Best hotel I have ever stayed at...... More

The hotel is a converted apartment complex. So, the suites provide all the benefits of an apartment with the added benefit of housekeeping, breakfast, happy hour, and great service. The rooms are nice and clean...but not fancy. The breakfast was the best breakfast I've had that was included with the room. I highly recommend this place. In the future, this... More

The stay at Habitat was very enjoyable. Even my husband enjoyed it and he is hard to please. This will be our place to stay next time we are in Austin. The only thing they need to work on is more fruit options at breakfast. They have a evening wine time that is nice.

Nice happy hour from 5-7pm with assorted hors d'oeuvres and crudite. Julie, the hostess is superb. Good healthy organic breakfast choices. Very quiet and calm. Environmentally friendly. All rooms are suites with a full kitchen, living room and bedroom. Kitchen is stocked with small assortment of dishes and cookware.

Love it here. I have a one bed suite, with a full kitchen. They have a strict "Quiet Policy", between 10 pm, and 9 am, which I really appreciate, because I 'm here to work. They have a really nice breakfast, with organic sugar, and yoghurt (Greek), 3 kinds of fruit salads, cereal, hot items, cereals, and plenty of breads.... More

We stayed here for two nights and found it to be a very nice hotel. The room was very spacious and they serve a very good variety for breakfast. All of the staff we talked to were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is not brand new but it is very well kept and clean. We especially liked being able... More

An overall enjoyable experience at a reasonable price - Clean rooms, good friendly service, and a relaxing atmosphere in the salt water pool/court yard garden. Guests are encouraged to pick fruit and herbs of the trees and in the garden to eat and cook with in their suites. The FREE evening cocktail was much nicer than expected and the FREE... More
