I love everything about this place! I I am always warmly welcomed. Who could pass up free happy hour AND free breakfast? Not just toast and coffee, but a buffet with eggs, sausage, breads, coffee ... I love the environmental sensitivity of this hotel. It is an apartment complex, recycled into a hotel, which has the nostalgic benefit of bringing... More

We stayed here this time in a room that had the furniture updated, much more comfortable sofa and chair. One problem noted was that there were no convenient (or any at all, actually) outlets for plugging in computers and such in the living or bedroom areas, only in the kitchen. We noted the food had been economized, such as no... More

This hotel looked and felt like a full-sized one bedroom apartment with all the amenities. The hot morning breakfast was the best I have had in any hotel and the staff were welcoming and friendly. In fact, one of the breakfast workers invited us to their staff Thanksgiving lunch if we were still going to be there on that day.... More

A lovely tranquil place which it's drive to gives you no clue! Designed around a totally environmental friendly policy that includes organic food as well. Nice pool and patio area. Great idea of free drink and food for early evening Our room was massive and it was a shame we were only there for 2 nights Breakfast was very busy... More

Staying here is basically renting a furnished apartment with maid service, one that is well kept and clean although things are not brand new. Looks like and probably was a typical apartment complex of the 1980s. The social hour sets them apart and earns them my 5 star click. Austin is known somewhat for its counterculture attitude, and staying here... More

This hotel is in a very quiet area right next to a major highway in Austin and yes, there is a "gentlemans" club to one side of the property. The grounds are nicely kept and the room was clean. The room needs to be updated...actually, it's the furniture, kitchen and bathrooms that needs a facelift. We stayed in a 2... More

My husband and I found this reasonably priced overnighter with breakfast a few miles from downtown Austin. What we didn't expect was how very nice our stay would be. The small living room is well laid out with a cozy functional kitchen separated by a counter and stools, then in a separate room was our king size bed, second TV... More

The place is kind of cool, it looks like an apartment building they converted into a hotel, but the front desk guy said it was built that way. The stove and refrigerator are originals, 1985, but no big deal. The bed was comfortable and room was big, so I can overlook the outdated everything, the wallpaper coming off the wall... More

My husband and I had to drive from SC to Austin for a family medical issue. From the initial booking, the hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. They gave us a good deal for an extended stay that was very reasonable considering a race was in town that had caused the hotel rates throughout the city to skyrocket. We loved... More

It was like staying in a condo. Beds were very comfortable, a lot of pillows provided. The suites offered a small kitchen area with frig. stove and dishes if you stayed in. The best part was quiet time. It was quiet from 9-9. This is a plus for us people who don't like being woken up by people coming in... More
