This hotel would have been wonderful. Room was clean, spacious, easy parking, and convenient access to freeway, The front desk staff in the evening was very friendly and helpful. We had a 1 bedroom with king bed, sofa, office desk, nice kitchen. All very comfy and spacious. There were 2 TVs - one in the living room, one in the... More

Habit Suites is a special place. We were allowed to check in an hour early. They also provided a nice selection of finger foods as well as beer~wine for hospitality hour. And the next morning they provided an incredible breakfast (to be included in the price). They make pancakes fresh, so there is a bit of a wait. Others were... More

I am so happy to hear about how much you enjoyed our Breakfast offerings! We believe in offering fresh, local food when possible and our all-natural organic Greek Yogurt you mentioned is provided to us by Austin's family owned and operated White Mountain Foods. I'll be sure to let Frank and David know you loved their pancakes! Thank you for... More

Very basic accommodations. Absolutely NO frills. This reminds me of a very old Residence Inn. The lobby and dining area are more updated than the actual living quarters. Granted, the 2 BR suite (loft room and bath) was preferable to a hotel room; however, the furniture was old and outdated. The microwave in our suite was probably the first one... More

We definitely appreciate this feedback and we are listening! Under new management here in 2014 we are engaged in some exciting renovation projects for this year! (Our main lobby was certainly the first preview of that!) It is true that we do not have a designated "bellman", because all and any of the Habitat Suites team are more than happy... More

I imagine at one time this would have been ideally situated., being right on the outskirts of a large shopping mall. Unfortunately the mall is no more, it is a deceased mall. This means the hotel is now situated in vast desert of concrete with just a few businesses surrounding it, on the plus side, there is plenty of parking.... More

We chose this hotel because it is in the 'Highlands' area of Austin where our daughter lives and it proved very convenient for popping around to see her and our grandchildren as she hasn't got the room to accommodate us. The suites are actually apartments with fully equipped kitchens and sitting areas. Breakfast is included in the very reasonable price... More

This is a good choice if you're looking for a true suite at a reasonable price. I chose it on a family trip that came together on short notice... we were satisfied with the room and the hotel generally. That said, I don't think anyone will be blown away by this place. Service is good and everyone I came in... More

First off I love the idea if being more eco friendly. Organic foods, nature friendly soaps and reusing of existing buildings? Great ideas. And the price is very reasonable for that. We had a suite that's pretty much an apartment, with full kitchen and living room. Very comfortable and nice shower. Only gripe is that there was very little natural... More

Amazing place, in the weirdest of locations. Almost like a green oasis. Staff are SUPER friendly and helpful. Free happy hour drinks and snacks and free breakfast!! What more could you ask for? Only downfall is the rooms/apartments are rather basic. Plug sockets didn't work and the lighting in the rooms were rather horrific. But I have to say it... More

I was a little concerned when this place going in. It sounds like a cool and different experience and maybe it's a little different when it's nice out. My biggest problems with the place was that it was 30 degrees and you could feel it in the room. You could feel the cold air coming through the gaps in the... More

I want to personally thank you sir for this invaluable feedback. For me, as the Front Office Manager, your review has enlightened me to several missteps that I will personally take responsibility for. First, It was WRONG of us to refuse the removal of food from our dining room considering the circumstances involved. The standard of hospitality upon which Habitat... More

I was getting so nervous as my trip to Austin was approaching and I was reading some of the recent reviews of this place. Both my husband and I were so relieved and happy once we arrived. We are a young married couple that travels regularly and are used to staying in 4 to 5 star hotels/resorts. I wanted to... More
