We stay at La Qunitas often but this one does not measure up. No shampoo in the room - requested some at the desk - were informed that the hotel was "out of shampoo." Room needs remodelling, towels are skimpy, bedding low-grade. Hotel is right off I 40 so get a quiet room in the back. more

Hard beds. Worst bed and bedding I have seen. If it had not been 9:00pm at night and raining, I would have left after sitting on the bed. On the bright side the lady runnig the breakfast was great. She had a huge crowd but was keeping up with all the guest. i more

We stayed here mainly because of the price. The hotel is on the interstate so would be better if you had a car, we didn't but taxi was only $10 from downtown Amarillo. Rooms were small-bathroom even smaller. Dressing area nice size. There was a used washcloth still in the shower. Our bed sagged in the middle. I picked this hotel online to stay at on a trip to california with my husband and dog! It's hard to find places that will not charge extra for my dog. A regular La Quinta customer, I was sorely disappointed by the condition of this hotel. The bathroom floor was filthy and remained that way for two days. The bathroom door did not close properly. The bathroom fan was inoperative as were several light switches. The rooms were tiny. And ... to top it off ... we received only 3 towels... more

We will never stay at another La Quinta anywhere after they raised their price $41 on a holiday weekend when a convention was in town and told us that was why they raised it. All the reasonable motels had only smoking rooms or single beds available so we were forced to stay at La Quinta. The other motels were not... more

I have stayed at this hotel now three times over the past four years and find the accomodations and the staff good. They have a wonderful breakfast and probably one of the best prices in town. Will definitely stay here every time I pass through. more
