Our family of 4 stayed at Comfort Suites South Amarillo over the Christmas Holiday. The room was large and the hotel was way back from the highway so it was a quiet place. Good breakfast--not just waffels but also eggs, sausage, etc. more

Great location for Palo Duro Canyon, but not much else. The check-in staff was very accommodating, and gave us great directions for restaurants. The room was very nice, and clean, and comfortable, but the rest of the property was not that well kept. The rooms were big, clean and the staff were very quick on providing a room. I would recommend staying here. The A/C works very, very well. I'm from Colorado and I'm use to cold weather, but these A/C units could blow snow out of them. I have never had a room with that good of a system. more
