Hot tub, comfortable bed, large shower/tub. Continental breakfast was great and quick for early sightseeing start. Had breakfast enchiladas once and they were delicious. Very reasonably priced! The hot tub was enclosed with privacy fence and felt great after a day of sightseeing!

We stayed in the Cottonwood and it was great! It had all of the amenities we needed plus the hot tub was amazing after a day of hiking in Palo Duro in freezing cold temps. The breakfast was delivered hot and delicious! It was only about a 20 minute drive to the state park and downtown Amarillo. Perfect for a weekend getaway with everything we needed.

The property was lovely. The location is a short drive away from both Amarillo and Palo Duro State Park. The weekend hot breakfast was delicious with extremely large portions. Check in and check out were flawless. The hosts made sure that all of our needs were met.

Absolutely love staying here! It's always so quiet and a nice spot to stop and relax. Second time I've got to stay here this month and I love it. Down in the canyon away from the hustle and bustle of Amarillo/Canyon

Very authentic historical place. We loved the privacy and the hot tub. Bed was very comfortable and the owners were very busy but took the time time make sure we were doing well. Nate even threw in an extra special cherry/chocolate scone when I heard he makes them. Breakfast was top notch and just elegant western. Never thought I’d use that in the same sentence.

This was a great location for all of our adventures we had planned on doing while we were there for the week. Hot tub was perfect after a long day of hiking. Hosts were very kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend and book again if return to the area.

Everything was so peaceful and relaxing during our stay. We enjoyed the amenities in the cabin including the private hot tub. The breakfast was so delicious and chocolate covered strawberries. So thankful for such a relaxing getaway.

We couldn't leave town for our 25th anniversary, so booked the Pinon room for one night. Ashamed to say that I didn't know this place existed but very easy to find. We were e-mailed pertinent information about our stay. Upon arriving at check in time, 4 - 6 PM, a woman with two children told us hello, that the building we were standing in front of was built by the Civilian Conservation Corp and a plaque verified that. We wish we could have seen inside! Then we were told our room was ready, door unlocked with key inside. She pointed the way and told us to call the number provided if we needed anything as they lived across the street. We were the only people in this compound and enjoyed the complete solitude. We walked around the fenced in area (just read in another review that there was a lake) and sat under the trees. As evening progressed we had the honor of meeting a lovely, charming cat who adored being petted. In return she watched out for us and stayed outside of our cabin all night. We ventured to the very nicely fenced, private, and overhead covered hot tub, which was wonderful! The room was large and selectively decorated in vintage cabin decor. Left earlier before we came were two wonderful cinnamon rolls, two containers of yogurt and two bottles of orange juice. So the next morning we enjoyed the breakfast, bid the precious cat good bye and left shortly before checkout time at 11AM. Except for our initial contact we saw nobody else, unexpected and unique!…

We stayed in the Pinion Cabin. Extremely spacious with a king bed, couch, mini refrigerator, tv & wifi. Breakfast was included and delivered to room. A bonus for us was a free concert that had there on a Friday night.

My husband is riding his bicycle across America (for Challenged Athletes Foundation) and I am his one woman crew. We were tired! And it was the week of our birthdays. We wanted something to replenish us. Starlight Canyon was PERFECT! Secluded and quiet. We stayed in the Aspen cottage and really enjoyed its coziness and the hot tub. We had meals delivered each evening and both meals were excellent. We also enjoyed massages in our cottage. Ahhhh, renewed! Thank you Liz and Nate for making us feel so welcome!
