This motel was so unique and had a very Texas feel to it. The different coloured hotel rooms added a touch to it. Very spacious rooms, only stayed one night to try the famous Texan Ranch restaurant which is next door. I love Texas things so i was very happy with this motel.

NEVER AGAIN My wife and I didn’t care at all for the Big Texan Motel, the attendant wasn’t at all helpful, I wanted a printed receipt, and she told me that the printer was out of ink, what bushiness doesn’t have spare ink cartilages. Also they said that their Wi-Fi didn’t work, being an IT person it take about 1... More

Stayed here on a whim, thought it might be cute. I was pleasantly surprised! The young lady at reception was extremely polite and helpful . Bed was super comfy, room amazingly clean, decor kitchy and the shower made my day long drive melt away. I would definitely stay here again

We loved our stay here. We slept brilliantly and we really enjoyed the cowboy decor. The rooms were cosy and clean. Laundry fasciitis are also available. Another bonus is having the big Texan opposite so dinner and breakfast were close. Definitely recommend.

We got the king room. Clean room for the most part except for some dust on some of the wood. The shower curtain doesn't look like they replace it after each use there was some soap scum on it. The outer curtain was really cute it looked like suede and had fringe on the bottom. There was no plug for... More

I traveled with my dogs and stayed here one night. It was a fun place to stay with a comfortable bed and tv that worked. I did have an unsavory character follow me to my room after coming back from dinner and sat outside my room for 3 hours before he finally left and I was able to take the... More

We stayed in the motel and ate dinner at the restaurant. The motel room was themed country. It was clean and convenient - a little over the top for us. The best part about the room was it proximity to the restaurant. Great staff and lots of fun.

Worst receptionist ever experienced. Worst hotel on Route 66. Not value for money. Only place with no wifi. Amenities poor quality. Restaurant next door no better. Worst fillet steak ever, very expensive. Not value for money. Recommend stopping to have a look at the place then continue driving.

OK, it's a motel... and let's be honest, I was expecting the design of the rooms to look a lot cheaper. You pay for the concept and the buzz they make about the restaurant (which is packed !) The rooms looked recent but unfortunately we were not given the code of the wifi ... I tried to call the reception... More

This two story establishment is an old-fashioned, back-up-to-the door motel. The rooms are roomy for an older motel. The bed was clean and comfortable and the wooden shutters substituted charmingly for window curtains. They go well with the rough board wall paneling and the swinging doors separating the bath from the bedroom area. If you've traveled by horse or mule,... More
