This Motel 6 even had fluffy pillows. Need I say more? Seriously, our king bed was comfortable, we had newer linens, and the room was quiet. Did not try the wifi. Housekeeping, thank you for doing your job as it should be done!

Not in the greatest of locations but we were on a two week girl's trip and just needed a place to lay our head for the night while passing through Amarillo. The towels and wash clothes had too much bleach in them for sensitive skin. I was fine, but another lady with us was not. After washing her face it... More

This place only gets one circle because it wouldn't let me not put any. If someone said they would pay me to stay at this motel I'd tell them I'll go pay to stay somewhere else. Huge clumps of hair in the tub. Hair on the door in the bathroom. The sheets on the bed were dirty. We had a... More

When I'm traveling from Dallas to Colorado, I rarely spend more than a few hours in a motel on my way there or on my way home. Therefore, I like to pay as little as I can but still stay somewhere I feel safe and comfortable. The Motel 6 near the Amarillo Airport has been a wonderful place for me... More

Checked in late to stay for just one night. The only real annoyance was that the front desk clerk had to re-do my key three times before it worked, for some reason it did not want to let me in the room! Hardwood floors are always a nice touch, especially at these budget hotels, so that was a relief. The... More

I only stay at Motel 6's across the country. This one was one of the remodeled ones. Nice king size bed for one person. Front counter person was very quick at their job and got me in a room in under 5 minutes. Great parking, nice and quiet. Will stay here again next time I come through Amarillo.

I often find that city Motel 6s are either more expensive or less pleasant than their suburban counterparts. This one was just fine. No better or worse than the average Motel 6, which was great for me on my way through the city. It's also conveniently close to the Big Texan, if you've got a hankering for a giant steak... More

Staff were very helpful. Accessible location. Reasonable price. The rooms were decent - clean, comfortable bed, easy parking, everything worked in the bathroom and bedroom - they looked like they had recently been refurbished. Nothing to complain about but nothing fantastic. You may have to pay for the wifi but at least it works!

Looked like it was remodeled. Flooring looked like laminate or linoleum, and was very clean. Bedding good and very comfortable. Bathroom very clean. We were looking for a basic, clean, room at a reasonable price and we were not disappointed. Glad to see this chain is upgrading rooms a little. We don't mind basic and no frills as long as... More

This hotel has a good location, just I-40. You need to pay for wifi (2.99). Why you don't simply charge it in the rate? Room was clean and TV were updated.. Laundry room is big enough.. Just coffee in the morning... Staff were friendly... Locks are opening swinging upward (weird) and it is not advised when checked in
