Obviously there's no place like home, but this is a great stop over hotel when traveling or staying in Amarillo. Simply put the staff are friendly (especially the manager) and beyond helpful. This was a nice super 8 located just off the interstate a few miles from the Big Texan Steak House, the room was fairly spacious and clean, breakfast was decent also with waffles and bagels. The rooms were noisy, we could hear the highway, people in the hallways and phones from the other rooms. The beds were hard. Breakfast was ample but overall not a good night sleep. Would not stay there again. more

We stayed here December 21st, 2007. I needed a hotel that allowed pets, but was nice enough for my wife and three little kids as well. I also did not want to spend much. This hotel fit perfectly. Not the nicest place, but for only $54, you can't ask for much more. The rooms were much nicer than the hallways... more

We stayed at this hotel in 2nd week of Nov2007. Our stay was great and smooth. Property has been renovated lately. Its great location. I would recomonded to everybody. more
