We had a king room. Check-in was excellent - friendly, helpful. Again, luggage cart availability was appreciated. Parking on the left of the motel entrance was good and ample when we were there, so we appreciate the comment about parking by the Outback Steakhouse. The room itself was on par with, or better than, many other motels were were staying... More

For there late at night but got room fast. Friendly night and day staff. Next door to outback on one side pizza on the other. No smoking rooms as one of the people with me found out the hard way. Would stay again.

Arrived a little after sundown on a long hard cross-country drive. Finding the place was a little tricky. In Amarillo, there are two Sleep Inns on I-40 within blocks of each other, one north of I-40 and one South of I-40. THIS ONE is on the South side of I-40. The hotel physical address caused my GPS to take us... More

Was wondering if the room would live up to all the rave reviews read before we booked....many reviews overly glowing. The bathroom had a horrible odor, we had to get some deodorizer to cover the smell to stay in the room two nights...not sure if the missing seal around the toilet was causing it but it was funky (sewer smell).... We have stayed here before, and it was pretty good. But we won't be back. We were in a ground-floor room across from the pool. Room was nice and clean, but around 4 a.m., the people next door started coming and going - at least 20 times over the next 2 hours. Worse part was their room door had the... More

This has to be the best value for the money in Amarillo. We booked a king suite on the first floor and found it to be exceptionally clean and functional. Our check-in was quick and enjoyable as the girl at the desk was very personable. The room wasn't extremely large but it proved to be comfortable. The breakfast was well... More

This was our first stay in a Sleep Inn and what a suprise. Sandwiched between an Outback Steakhouse and another brand name motel was this immaculate Sleep Inn. The room was well presented with a walk in shower and the largest TV of any room we have ever stayed in, staff was very personable and breakfast was better than normal... More

We were really impressed with how nice this hotel was for what we paid (less than $100) for a double queen room. I was skeptical, but based on the reviews on this site I booked a room and it certainly lived up to everything. The rooms were clean, fairly quiet, and the mattress was very comfortable. There is an Outback... More

In checking prices an Amarillo near I-40 I found the Sleep Inn to be significantly less expensive. I have stayed at the nearby Holiday Inn Express before. I found the Sleep Inn to be much more reasonable and in the same general area. I gave it a try. Well, to my pleasant surprise it was an excellent choice. The hotel... More

The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. Surprisingly there was not the usual tub/shower combo but a plus sized stall shower (which I prefer). Wifi was fair at best, but good enough to check my email. The only downer was a little road noise but being so close to the interstate it was not unexpected. There is... More
