This hotel leaves much to be desired. From the outside it looks nice but the rooms are old and in deperate need of upgrades. The tv's are old and the one in the bdrm (where you'd lilke to relax after a long drive) is aprox. 15", the bed was uncomfortable, I tossed and turned all night, the pillows are hard... more

Booked this hotel thru the platinum line. Platinum assured me that multiple suites were available for platinum upgrade. Upon arrival, was informed by front desk mgr that hotel policy does not allow for upgrade of platinum members even when staying on points. Did get a one bedroom suite, but fold out couch was literally one inch thick and decrepit. Pool,... more

Was verbally attacked by employee for watching her cook in the little food room while my family and I were eating breakfast! Supervisor on duty allowed her to continue the attack and when I complained to corporate, they sent the complaint over to the manager who also happens the be the owner. She basically called me a liar and she... more

This property is short staffed and it showed. The desk clerk was not only working the front desk but was working as room service as well. We booked 3 rooms and each one was either missing towels in the bathroom, no extra toliet paper, no complementry bath products. Good thing we had our own bath gel and shampoo. Thanks to... more

This residence was okay/average. It just isn't up to par with the normal residence inns that I've stayed at. It seems like it has aged. The fairfield across the way isn't any better either as i've stayed there in the past. The room had some noticeable areas that needed work along the walls. paint was stripped off, the baseboards were... more

I've stayed here about 8 times on trips back and forth between California and Texas. It's next door to a sister Marriott property (a Courtyard I think). The staff was very nice. I never have encountered a problem on check in or check out. A couple of times I arrived late and they went out of their way to give... more

Access is easy, but is only from a one-way adjacent to the intestate (I-40). Make sure to be in the west bound side, right lane. In Texas, most bridge junctions off the interstate offer easy turn-arounds. So, if you miss it, its easy enough to loop around again without a bunch of red lights. This property was built fairly recently,... more

Stayed for 1 night w/our 2 dogs. Great pet area actually borders a city "greenbelt" w/paved walking/bicycle path -- we enjoyed using this for dogs' excercise in the am. Not the nicest part of town, other than above mentioned area. Ate dinner at nearby Hofbrau House (local steak house) that front desk gal recommended -- this was excellent food and... more

This is a wonderful place to stay if your traveling with your dogs. Everything about it is top notch. The management are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large, modern and up to date, clean and bright. Services are close by. Whether your staying one night or two as we did it's like coming home and very relaxing to... more

I've stayed at the Residence Inn several times in the last year on business. Unfortunately the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the "perks" of membership have declined significantly. There have been staff changes, not for the better. I won't be staying there again. more
