Had a king room, included a couch, micro fridge, and other expected extras. Plenty of room. Quiet. A/C unit was quieter than most. Great breakfast. Real eggs. Nice selection. Nice breakfast area. Would stop here again. Super wifi connection! Large well lit parking lot in front. Some light leaks in around the drapes but minor IMO. If you are light... More

Stayed one night on the way to Big Bend National Park after flying into El Paso. The staff was very friendly and willingly offered suggestions for dinner in the area upon our late arrival. The room was clean, updated, and comfortable, though it could have used a bit more lighting. The mattress was surprisingly great. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast... More

This motel is a great place to stay. Nice and clean and up to date. All of the employees are friendly and go out of their way to help in any way they can. Great breakfast with fresh eggs and bacon that you can taste. Nice large dining and sitting area that is comfortable and decorated for a west Texas... More

This was our base while visiting the Big Bend National Park and the McDonald Observatory during Thanksgiving Break. Please note that the location is not ideal if you are planning to visit just one of the two above as Terlingua and Marathon is closer to Big Bend and Ft. Davis is much closer to the Observatory, but this was a... More

The folks working here were super nice, but the hotel left some to be desired. Much different in real life than on their website and it is always worrysome when you walk into your room and there are two plungers by the toilet. It is listed as recently renovated, but aside from new counter tops I don't know what has... More

I truly enjoy stopping in Alpine, Texas and the stay in The Bestwestern Inn there. The town is small, clean and in the Davis Mountains. The Motel is a well preserved model of excellence in hospitality from a more peaceful era. The murals alolne in the lobby are worth seeing. The staff is knowledgeable about the area and very helpful.

This is one of the best motels I have ever stayed in and yet the price was reasonable. There is a small living room type area at the far end of the room. This will be my place of choice when staying in Alpine in the future. The room was immaculately clean and the front desk clerk was very professional.... More

Staff was very courteous, but room was pretty dreary. I had to ask for two light bulbs to be replaced, even so, the resulting lighting was poor. Room needed to be redecorated. I think it is over-priced. The location is ok, but do not attempt to eat at the nearby diner, if you are a vegetarian.

Nice hotel poor wifi and breakfast. Microwave bleeped every two minutes. Obviously a known problem as it was unplugged and yet management could do nothing about it - how can they call themselves managers. When will hotels learn that hi speed internet doesn't mean electrons dribbling out of the end of a wet piece of string. If electricity and water... More

Friendly reception by Carinna at the front desk, solved the Thanksgiving holiday oversold situation quickly and with charm. Stayed in spacious king room with seating group, desk, flat screen TV (mostly analog channels), small fridge (no freezer) and small micro. Clean and well kept all around. Bathroom sink/counter is incorporated into the room, toilet and shower/tub are seperated. Bfast is... More
