Our stay at this hotel was outstanding all around. The rooms were very comfortable, the service was great and the continental breakfast was perfect for us. We were located in a super location, didn't hear the infamous train at all. We will be going back. more

The Hampton Inn in Alpine, Texas just opened in July of 2009. It is typical of the Hampton Inn chain hotels. However, it has a lovely lobby with a flat screen HDTV and connections for laptops. This is a new hotel right outside of Alpine, TX. New carpets, rooms, beautiful/open breakfast area, flooring, etc is always nice. We check in and get to the room and the room is not cool from A/C (100 degrees outside). Air is coming out of the room air conditioner, but it's not the cold, compressed A/C type of air. Go... more
