We just got back from Alpine and stayed at the Ramada. I have good and bad thoughts. The price was good $98/night for a king bed. They do take pets which not a lot of hotels do. They charge $25 one time fee for the pet. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was awesome compared to... more

Our room was clean and the complimentary hot breakfast is very good. The desk staff is friendly and helpful. We came to Alpine to hike, so our expectations were not extreemly high. The hotel proved to be a good experience and we enjoyed our stay. more

Used it as a base for visiting Big Bend, Ft. Davis, and McDonald Observatory. Room was clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast of eggs and waffles was good. WiFi worked well. Staff was very helpful and courteous. more

The manager, Bea, & her staff did a fabulous job! We had a large group staying there & they went above & beyond. The full breakfast was great & moved very quickly. They put out snacks on the day of everyones arrival & registration. Put little bags in each room. We even had a birthday & needed a cake &... more

The staff was great when I came to check in early! Gave great recommendations of local places to eat at. Treated like family! Breakfast was great and the lady was very friendly. Housekeeping did a great job on my room, didn't leave more coffee the next day but front desk was quick to resolve that problem! I didn't use the... more

The room was dirty. Debris that was on the floor remained there. The security door to the hotel was broken and would not lock. Our window would not close. The sink would not drain; my husband repaired it. Room was not available at 3:30. Despite only being 1/4 full, a different room was not provided. This hotel ranks in the... more

This motel is on the edge of town. The room was spacious with a sitting area equipped with a couch and digital TV. The bed was comfortable. For the free breakfast, eggs were cooked to order, in addition to waffles, sausage, bacon, and more. more

Pro's: It's clean and the help is friendly. Good shower head. Con's: No fridge or microwave in room. Mattresses are hard to the point of back-breaking. Noisy plumbing (at one point it sounded like a dentist was using his drill next door for about 15 minutes just as we were trying to go to sleep). Good/Bad News Clincher: Free breakfast,... more

Staff were consistently friendly; however, room furnishings exhibited some wear (sun shining through holes in cutains, peeling laminate veneer of dressers, etc.) and cleanliness not up to par (dirty tub with leftover hair, stains on carpet and couch)- IMO not worth the $85/night rate. We'll try somewhere else next time in this pretty town :) more

Memo To Ramada Inn Alpine: Pay Attention! The room is OK, the place is nice however there is NO EXCUSE for the left over coffee complete with MOLD that greeted me this morning when I went to use the in room coffee maker. It looks like the grinds and from the size of the mold growth that this coffee maker... more
