If you find yourself in the town of Alice, TX and need a place to stay, this is it. Just opened in Dec 08, the rooms were cleaned with flat screen TV's and nice, big bathrooms. The breakfast area was big, bright and served a high end continental breakfast. The staff was wonderful. The outdoor pool was clean and the weather was great to allow for an evening swim with piped in music and a well-lit pool area. Within walking distance was a Chili's restaurant and a shopping complex of a few retail stores and a Walmart. I have stayed next door at the Holiday Inn Express and while that was nice, if I return to Alice my preference would be the Hampton Inn. more
