I stayed at two Hampton Inns (Abilene & Austin) last week. The one in Abilene was $119/night including their tax. I was appalled that both Hampton Inns use polystyrene for their breakfasts; everything is plastic. Since Hampton Inn claims to be environmentally friendly, am not sure how they justify all this non recyclable plastic/garbage but it's a big turn off.... more

Buyer Beware!!! When making a reservation, you cannot rely on this particular location to get it straight. I made a reservation for three rooms using my credit card. This hotel opened in late June 2007, and is exceptionally nice. My standard king room had a great layout that I've only seen at one other Hampton before.
