Came in late last night attendants were very polite and accommodated our family's needs. First night our dogs had a great night sleep. Very quiet and clean. It was a comfortable room and complimentary breakfast.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for a long weekend, we were in town for the first time. We were late getting in,but were greeted like we were old friends. The WiFi was great, could use anywhere on any device. Breakfast was adequate, housekeeping, and maintenance were always buisy and very friendly.

My husband and I entered the Whitten Inn on Thursday April 23, for reservations. We were greeted by three smiling young ladies each offering to help us. From the time we entered until the following day, when we left, the service was outstanding, room was clean, food good and the decor of the place was very pleasing to the eye.... More

Staff was wonderful and so accommodating. Interior courtyard was so peaceful with trees and birds chirping which set a beautiful background for the pool area. The only... More

We were surprised to find this independent hotel at a fair price using a coupon book. The room was large and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower was very good. And wi-fi was very acceptable.

Wonderful hotel and very accommodating to us and our pets! Frances hosts the best breakfast and very friendly. The room was clean and they made sure to place us on the bottom floor to make it easier to manage our pets since we were in town for a dog training playday.

If you are in Abilene, and you are on a budget, the Whitten inn by the Walmart is your best bet. There are plenty of food choices within walking distance. This hotel gets a lot of team sports and business travelers.
