The rooms were clean, neat and comfortable. No problems parking my 4-horse trailer, and the staff was friendly and very, very nice. I will definitely stay at the Whitten Inn University any time I go through Abilene, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a clean, comfortable and QUIET room! All the rooms we had were very... More

All front desk staff was very professional. We were greeted with very friendly smiles and the best hospitality ever. Our rooms were very clean and housekeeping staff were as friendly as could be. I'm not sure I could find better place to stay. The staff has been great to our group of four. Stasia is one of the nicest managers, she and her staff have been very professional. I recommend this place if staying in Abilene. Ps love the cat.

Nice room, friendly staff, great pool. We enjoyed our stay very much. We would stay again. Room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone. It's located close to I-20, and good restaurants within walking distance.

My my, where to begin....a rainy night forced a stop in Abilene so we spotted a sign for Whitten Inn that advertised a $59 rate on the billboard. Upon checking in, I was informed the room rate was $79. Next I was told the $59 rate was the 'special' and only applied to certain upstairs rooms. The free breakfast buffet... More

The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and had a great nights sleep. This is just off the... More

My husband and I enjoyed the one stay. Tisha, the young lady that checked us in, was very professional, friendly and willing to accommodate our needs. The breakfast was great. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was nice. There was a slight musty/moldy odor but it wasn't unbearable.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for a long weekend, we were in town for the first time. We were late getting in,but were greeted like we were old friends. The WiFi was great, could use anywhere on any device. Breakfast was adequate, housekeeping, and maintenance were always buisy and very friendly.
