Room just ok. Carpet stained, no lights in ceiling only table lamps so dimly lite but at least the AC worked well. Bed not that comfortable, inferior quality, and our room close to elevators so could hear ping sound all night, thin walls. Fitness center has three machines and I could only get one to work. Easy access from freeway... More

Wow my second Sleep Inn on this trip and my faith in Choice Hotels is changing for the better. Having worked for a Choice Hotel Property before I had little faith in Sleep Inn's but WOW this Sleep Inn is truly one of Choice Hotels best and should be a model property for the brand. My dad, who is handicapped,... More

This Sleep Inn seems pretty new. Our room was both nice and clean. The only way our stay could have been better is if the breakfast items had been kept stocked; we arrived a half hour before it closed and several items were just gone.

I stay in Abilene hotels about 45 nights a year both because I have a son at Abilene Christian University, as well as the fact that I am a journalist and occasionally am working on assignments that allow me to be in the area. Until about a year ago, I had been staying at another hotel in the area. However,... More

Never stayed at a Sleep Inn before but, given the high cost of my usual haunts everywhere from Abilene to Pecos, I was looking for something a little more reasonable. And this was a great choice! Indoor accommodations, decor and cleanliness on a par with the best, very cordial staff and the best breakfast I've had at a hotel in... More

We checked into a suite so that we could have an extra bed. We needed that bed to sleep everyone traveling with us. The mattress had a hug tear in it and the springs for the fold out couch were broken at the foot of the bed. You could not sleep on the fold out couch. We had paid the... More

Check in time was 2pm. When we arrived at 2:15 there was no one at the front lobby desk, only a sign saying the desk attendant was taking care of other guests. After waiting 10 minutes with no one showing up, we drove around and had a bite to eat. Returning at 3:15pm the desk attendant stated that the room... More

There IS free breakfast and the bacon (only meat option) during breakfast was not bad! The customer service at the front desk and at the hotel in general is great! I was greeted, "Good morning!" by one of the staff and when I had to check out quickly, they were very accommodating. I like how the business center (which has... More

Beds were comfortable, room was a good size. Beautiful bathroom, and well maintained common areas. My only complaint was that my bathroom floor had a spot on it and that the caulking on the tub was stained orange.

We stay in Abilene about 3 times a year. I typically stay at the Danville location, but tried this one to be closer to the group I was meeting. The king room I stayed in was super nice, a comfortable bed, great shower, cold A/C, reliable WIFI, a large closet, and a huge desk to work from. I enjoy the... More
