Stayed at this hotel in Abilene on our way to New Mexico. We found it to be very clean & afforable. The king room we had was very nice & spacious. The breakfast was standard but hey its free! The front desk attendant was very friendly & helpful. All in all a good experience. more

We booked the Wingate at a lower rate than advertised because they do accept government rates. The gov rate makes this hotel cheaper than the Hilton, Comfort Suite & Holiday Inn.
