I usually stay at this hotel, it is older but still one of the better hotels in this area. They are going through some remodeling right now however I never heard any noise during my stay. The staff was very friendly and courteous as usual. I will probably stay here during my next visit. more

Arrived late, desk staff were helpful, but a little attitude that I didn't need. Room was OK, but somewhat worn. The hotel was full and pretty noisy too. Parking was pretty difficult also. Overall below par from what I'm used to at Hampton Inns. If you're in Abilene, try the new one by the I-20. more

Nice location off the highway. Close to movies and restaurants, staff was friendly. Room was clean, bathroom ceiling had a bit of chipped paint, but all else was fine. more

The rooms are very small but cozy. The beds are brand new in all the Hampton Inns and just as nice as a bed in a Hilton Hotel. Staff is very friendly and courteous. The breakfeast area is small and lack off. The coffee is above average. I would stay there again knowing i will get a goods night sleep more

Service was courteous and the beds were new and comfortable. The room was clean. Overall the property was good, but this is not one of the newer buildings. The eating space was smaller, the pool was smaller, the rooms were smaller--but everything was nice and good for the limited amount of time our family (2 teens, 2 adults) stayed. They... more

This is a nice clean and comfortable place to stay for a night or two. Good but not outstanding breakfast. Nice pool and hot tub. Located next to a shopping mall. We would stay there again if in that area. more

The room was very comfortable, like previous reports: pillows you can flop into when exhausted. The lap pad was a nice feature, so you can put your lap top on your lap and sit back into the couch. They even let us use a cord to hook up to their free high speed internet service. Refrig. and microwave to store... more

We stayed during graduation weekend 2006 and the location is handy. The room is above average - great mattress and really nice furniture. Check out the INDOOR pool and jacuzzi - it was wonderful after a long drive and the area is set up great - fluffy towels on the chairs and cute frogs. I normally stay in Hamptons for... more

The hotel itself was great and so was most of the staff but the manager herself was rude and inconsiderate. Try to pack up all of your things everytime you leave. I left my robe hanging on the bathroom door and after the maid cleaned our room it was gone! And ever so conviently the maid was gone by the... more

I've stayed at many, many Hampton Inns and have found them to be an excellent value. The Abilene Hampton is no exception -- it's clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The rooms appear to have been recently remodeled, with no wear or stains to be found. The beds are awesome pillowtops with 5 huge pillows. Breakfast is average for... more
