I am almost hesitant to write this review, for fear that we won't be able to get a room the next time we try! Do yourself a favor if your are traveling I-75 through Tennessee. Take an extra five minutes to drive into Athens, and escape the noise, the standard complementary breakfasts...the overall cookie cutter experience of a motel chain... more

The Majestic Mansion was a perfect place to get away for a quiet weekend. The Empress Room is wonderful, and the breakfast served was amazing! We will be back! more

The Majestic Mansion sits right in the middle of the "Old Town" section of Athens. There are quaint shops and historical buildings. When you're ready to do something more adventurous, there is white water rafting, hiking, etc. very close by. I can't write enough good things about our stay at The Majestic Mansion B&B. From the moment we pulled up to the house Richard and Elaine greeted us with open arms. The house is beautifully decorated and filled with old southern charm. My children loved lying on the hammocks outside. My son even took a nap it was so peaceful.... more

We went to the Majestic Mansion to get away from hectic city life, and loved every minute. We stayed in the "Empress Room", which has cool Japanese paraphenalia and a sunken jacuzzi tub.
