This a a nice, clean Fairfield on a road with a few other hotels right off a fairly busy road/highway (somewhat limited access). It's a good distance from Knoxville, but since it is directly across from the airport I guess it is still considered a Knoxville suburb.
While I was pleased with the hotel, for future visits to the area,...

Imagine you are tired after driving for hours and look forward to getting to bed. You check in and are given a room the furthest away from the elevator...I was using points for my stay. Upon entering room you hear smoke alarm beeping. You call clerk and get another room...right next door...and then walk in to hear the same beeping...

This hotel is convenient to the airport. It is a basic hotel. I have not stayed at any other Fairfield so cannot compare. I have stayed at this one twice to get the megabonus Marriott is running. I would not stay there if I didn't need a couple of stays for the bonus. It seems clean enough, but it just...

Got into Knoxville late at night for an auto tour of TN & NC. This total is next to the airport. It is the typical Marriott short stay hotel. Rooms were clean, comfortable bed, Marriott interiors with the "FREE" waffle breakfast. The check in and out is painless and the place is quiet considering the location. They offer a free...

The hotel was clean and the staff was attentive. All in all, a good experience. There were several fairly good restaurants nearby and since it was raining much of my trip, that really helped. Plus, the selection of cable was good. I especially like the Retro TV in Knoxville and the Turner Classic Movies.

Stayed one night prior to an early flight. Room spotless, comfortable bed, friendly staff, prompt shuttle. Park & fly package a bargain when you consider $$$ saved by not having to pay airport parking fees.

My friends and I stayed at the Fairfield Inn while we were in the area to attend the NASCAR race in Bristol. The location was easy to find, but we found that it was a bit difficult to get in/out of the property because of traffic on the main highway. Not the hotels fault that there wasn't a stop light...

I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and updated this hotel was after just spending the night in the same hotel in Nashville, TN., where I was disappointed at how dated the bathrooms and mattress was..
The Alcoa property had a very comfortable bed and newly renovated bathroom. The staff was very friendly and immediately responded to a suggestion we...

Standard Fairfield Inn layout and design. Staff extremely friendly and professional. The treat jar (filled with jelly beans, gummy bears, rice crispy treats) is a nice touch. Breakfast is standard Fairfield Inn fare, and the staff is attentive of keeping everything stocked.
The only downside is that the room seemed quite dated compared to other Fairfield Inns, and the room...
