The B&B is run by the sweetest lady (Florence). Sleeps are romantic and the view over the fields is marvelous. Breakfast is extra-ordinary with fresh eggs, home made oatmeal and home made bread. A great place, in itself a reason to return to. We loved it.

This B&B was recommended to me by relatives, so I had high hopes, and I wasn't disappointed. The owner, Florence, was warm and welcoming with a flexible breakfast schedule. Her homemade pancakes and buttermilk syrup were delicious. The room was clean, comfortable, and reasonably-priced. We were able to connect to the wifi no problem, had a private entrance, and really... More

This was our first time staying at a B & B. We had a great experience. It was located in a beautiful setting, extremely clean, and some of the best food we've ever eaten. We highly recommend this place.

My wife and I stayed in the Spring House after a visit to Longwood Gardens. The reservation could not have been easier and Florence was an excellent host. The Spring House is detached and very private, and the entire facility is located in a very tranquil and easily accessible area just northwest of Kennett Square. The guest house was very... More

We learned about an Olde Stone Guesthouse while doing research online to select bed/breakfast. We were looking for a place to stay away from crowds, media, congestion, traffic: ie rest. This place gave us a gift of waking up in a historic house and enjoying the view of beautiful sunrises, watching horses grazing in a meadow amidst rising fog, taking... More

Stayed here for one night and really enjoyed it. This particular BandB is the best I have been at overall. Flo, the owner, was awesome. She reminded me SO much of my nana, cooked awesome homemade oatmeal and really knew how to make you feel at home. The guesthouse was magnificent and I wouldnt change a thing about it. It... More

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay in July. We enjoyed our huge room with 2 comfortable queen beds, a couch, table and chairs, and full kitchen with bath. Everything was clean, neat and well maintained. I was a little unsure we had found it, because there wasn't any sign advertising the place, but my GPS got me right... More

Just a wonderful stay here with Florence. Breakfast was outstanding; everything was perfect. A peaceful place that was so clean and quiet. Not far from everything the area has to offer; but off the road enough that you can enjoy (?) the sound of the frogs and the show put on by the lightning bugs. Absolutely loved staying here.

We rented Larkspur & Aster for a two night stay with our daughter, her husband and five month old baby and we were made so welcome. Our rooms were beautifully furnished and the beds very comfortable, this together with the countryside and fresh air ensured very good night sleeps. Florence is a superb hostess and nothing is too much trouble... More

My mother and I stayed with Florence for two nights. Florence was a kind and gracious host, the house was clean and cosy and breakfast was delicious! The house is located in peaceful farmland, has a wonderful garden and you can watch the horses on the farm next door.
