We stayed in Suite Friendship. It was fantastic as a family to have 2 separate bedrooms. It was clean and comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was delivered to the suite each morning and the choices were all delicious! The location would be ideal for someone visiting the seminary or wanting to learn more about the historic neighborhood.

An interesting old B&B. We stayed on the second floor. Climbed the steep steps to find a decent kitchen, two decent sized rooms and a full bath. This was a good place for two couples to spread out a little and have privacy. Not sure it would have been cost effective for just one couple. Deb is friendly and accommodating.... More

Whether you're in town for a class at Trinity School for Ministry or any other reason, if you want to experience what it's like to live in Ambridge, come here. Both rooms (apartments, really) have their own charms (I've stayed here twice -- the first time upstairs, the second time downstairs) and give you a feel for Ambridge living. The... More

I had lived in the area until I went away to college. I was very familiar with the Harmonites and Old Economy Village. To stay at the Old Economy Inn while I attended a class reunion was a real treat . I stayed on the second floor of this historic building - the hardwood floors, the simple but beautiful decoration,... More

I stayed at this B&B for 8 days two weeks ago! What an awesome place!!!! The rooms are spacious and so quaint. Although I didn't eat breakfast there every day as I was going out very early some mornings, every breakfast I had was delicious. And the price was VERY reasonable. Deb, the owner, goes out of her way to... More

This B n B is just lovely. Very spacious, comfortable, and quaint. Breakfast is delicious and the owners are attentive and professional. They offered suggestions on nearby places to check out. We couldn't have been happier.

My husband and I were looking for a place to stay while visiting our daughter in the Sewickley area. We usually camp, but it was early for campgrounds to be open, so I started looking for a B&B, knowing they are usually more comfortable and offer more "homey" feel. We couldn't have been happier staying at the Old Ecomony Inn!... More

what a great idea! we had out of town guest, more than could fit in our house and this was so much more personal than a hotel. They even make you breakfast, so my guests were well taken care of with out killing me. and it was very nice and clean

I visit on business quite often and it's a nice home away from home. Clean, comfortable, reasonable, and centralized. It's your only real option for miles and it's great. The breakfast is a nice addition to the stay, I think four choces.

I came to Ambridge, PA for the funeral of a close family member. Half my family was already staying at a house down the street, so I wanted to be close to them. One of my aunts said she had heard about the Inn, so I walked down the street and called the number on the sign. I left a... More
