We had at wonderful stay at Old Economy Inn. We loved the history, the authentic accomodations, and the raspberry muffins--and not necessarily in that order! An easy 20 minutes to Pittsburgh but a world away. A charming host, too!

Very interesting historical setting. Furnished in a way that honors the Harmonists - the photos make the rooms look more spartan than they actually are! We were passing through and weren't able to tour the Old Economy Village which looked interesting. The freshly baked raspberry muffins were delicious.

Our family rented all three suites for our son's wedding. Traveling from Virginia and Minnesota, it was really great to have access to nicely equipped kitchens and living areas to have some time together apart from the formal festivities. We brought our dogs, rather than kennel them at home, and it worked out great. Walking the dogs through the historical... More

We stayed in Suite Friendship. It was fantastic as a family to have 2 separate bedrooms. It was clean and comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was delivered to the suite each morning and the choices were all delicious! The location would be ideal for someone visiting the seminary or wanting to learn more about the historic neighborhood.

An interesting old B&B. We stayed on the second floor. Climbed the steep steps to find a decent kitchen, two decent sized rooms and a full bath. This was a good place for two couples to spread out a little and have privacy. Not sure it would have been cost effective for just one couple. Deb is friendly and accommodating.... More

Whether you're in town for a class at Trinity School for Ministry or any other reason, if you want to experience what it's like to live in Ambridge, come here. Both rooms (apartments, really) have their own charms (I've stayed here twice -- the first time upstairs, the second time downstairs) and give you a feel for Ambridge living. The... More

I had lived in the area until I went away to college. I was very familiar with the Harmonites and Old Economy Village. To stay at the Old Economy Inn while I attended a class reunion was a real treat . I stayed on the second floor of this historic building - the hardwood floors, the simple but beautiful decoration,... More

I stayed at this B&B for 8 days two weeks ago! What an awesome place!!!! The rooms are spacious and so quaint. Although I didn't eat breakfast there every day as I was going out very early some mornings, every breakfast I had was delicious. And the price was VERY reasonable. Deb, the owner, goes out of her way to... More

This B n B is just lovely. Very spacious, comfortable, and quaint. Breakfast is delicious and the owners are attentive and professional. They offered suggestions on nearby places to check out. We couldn't have been happier.
