We spent a week as a family in this Courtyard......no other hotel compares. This place is quiet, accomodating and has the friendliest staff. I keep going back visit after visit because of the setting, beautiful views of the mountains,.close to the ballpark and to Lakemont Park.(by the way.....has $3 days)!! We were traveling with our teenage son and visiting Lakemont Park (Which has the world's oldest continually operating roller coaster from 1902). When we searched for hotels in Altoona, the courtyard seemed like the best choice. It was perfectly fine as most courtyards are. Stayed here on business several times, and the hotel was very nice and clean each time. Its a long ride from the Jersey Shore to Altoona, but each time the hotel has been accomodating with friendly staff and has been a positive experience. My wife & I stayed one night for a All Star football game. The rooms were large, clean, nice flat screen tv and right next to the convention center. The front desk staff was incredibly accommodating letting us checkout late-3 pm-since we had a 6 pm kickoff. Would definitely stay here anytime I am in Altoona. more

This hotel is newer and next to the convention center. My room was clean and well appointed. Bed was very comfortable and tv a flat screen. I forget deodorant and the front desk had a spare ready.
