Econolodge Allentown Motel and Conference Center is a dramatically improved renovated as new location, and highly recommended for the weary traveler. I arrived her to cover a weekend sporting event in the Econolodge conference center. The 200 section rooms and the 500 section rooms are renovated as new, five star pristine and nice! Sweet! You must request these rooms in... More

Although the room was clean it had no heat. They have 20+ year old zone lines that pump out warm air. I was there on business and had the worst night ever in a MOTEL and I've been in some poor hotels.

It's cheap'ish and the pool looks big With the good stuff out of the way it's dirty, poorly maintained, likely renovated 20 years ago (including bedspreads, yuck!), nosey, poorly soundproofed, weirdly laid out, half empty and feels a little unsafe. My room had newish carpet but an old loud AC, water-stained drapes, a bathroom exhaust that sounded ready to explode,... More

I recently stayed here as I was visiting Dorney Park the following day. This hotel was lackluster and I would NEVER stay here again after something I witnessed with one of the "managers" Harrison Kane. I will get to that later and I had numerous problems with my stay... When I reserved, Choicehotels website states there are rooms with balconies.... More

This was by far the worst hotel experience that I have had in 30 years. It was moved to 4 different rooms until i found one that was marginally acceptable, the only reason I stayed there was the fact that is was 1:45 in the morning and there were no other hotels available in a 45 mile radius. The rooms... More

Quick weekend for the DCI competition. This motel is an older one. A few cons include very weak wifi service if at all. Called ahead of our stay about getting a roll-away bed and was assured it wouldn't be a problem. Got up to the motel and was told they have only have about three and are usually taken quickly.... The staff were very helpful and kind. Our key would not unlock our door after many attempts, and the owner had to come help. We eventually got it to work, although in the morning as I snuck out to exercise, the door handle would not move back into its' position. This left the door unlatched and unlocked. This place really... More

Omg on top of the fact that at check in time the rooms were not even ready. Our rooms smelled like SIN ughhh! Bathtub was filthy, parking looked like a murder scene! And I fell coming out my room very unsafe! Not worth 2 pennies. Never again!!!

Musty smelling rooms. Dirty. Worn out beds that sink to the floor. Priced way too high, this place should have hourly rates. Only positive is plenty of room for a big truck if I'm really desperate. Avoid.
