It was an overnight stay at a pet friendly hotel. It was sub-standard! There was the wrong element hanging all out in front of the hotel smoking. The room needed an update, over-haul and re-do! The carpet was outdated, the walls in the room needed repairing, holes and chips in different locations. I paid $100 for one night, that includes... More

While I've certainly stayed in worse places, this is one I wouldn't rush to return to. The front desk staff were friendly but apart from that, the hotel needs a facelift. Our room had marks all over the walls (scratches, tears, markings) and it was definitely outdated. There was purple paint stains on the bedspread in our room. Dimly lit.... More

The price that was quoted online was not the same. The weather was bad (snow storm) which delayed my check in and the receptionist was trying to charge me for the nights I wasn't there. She still charged me! Also had to check out early due to another snow storm. Overall customer service was very poor! My room was clean... More

This particular Howard Johnson Inn is one of those constructed as a modular unit, and guests will feel as if they are units to be packaged. All the pieces are here, but they just do not fit together quite correctly. The desk/chair/bed configuration was such that one could not fully pull the chair away from the bed to seat one's... More

We got to the hotel and tried to check in. I had my reservation confirmation in my hand, Thank Goodness. The hotel clerk could find NO record of our reservation. She was very friendly and kept apologizing. I understand this happens, that's why I always have my confirmation. The clerk did get us checked in fairly quickly with all the... More

We went to PA for the weekend to go snow tubing at Blue Mountain. We were just staying one night and I saw that this hotel already had some bad reviews ,so we were not going to stay here. However it did have a indoor pool and free breakfast also they had smoking rooms ,which was a important thing to... More

I solely booked my stay during my childrens winter break because this hotel had a pool!Well what a huge disappointment! We were all set with bathing suits on and towels going towards to front desk and turn the hall to find a sign on the door pool closed! Which wasnt on the door about an hour before that! I nicely... We drove for 2 straight days with 3 kids. We chose this hotel for the indoor pool since its a 4 day stay and snowed in. Upon arrival, kids were running up and down the halls running into us, hollering, and horseplaying in their swimsuits. This morning, the pool is closed because someone put shampoo in the jacuzzi! Don't know... More
