We needed a place well-situated in the Poconos region that would accept pets. I don't know whether Red Rose Inn can take dogs in all cases, but they welcomed ours (who is housebroken and doesn't bark much). The hospitality went well beyond just willingness to accommodate our dog, though! The room (really a suite) was clean, comfortable, and attractive, and... More

We stayed at the Red Rose Inn B & B in Albrightsville over the long weekend. It was our first experience in B & B but definitely not the last. The B&B is owned and operated by Mr. David Nickels, who was welcoming and accommodating. Cat was friendly and warm. We enjoyed our breakfasts. Dave is a great cook: when... More

Our host, Dave, was very friendly and accommodating. Our room wasn't fancy, but comfortable and clean. Breakfasts were great, especially the apple fritter bread French toast. There is a cat on the premises but it was well behaved and didn't bother us at all. We'll definitely return again when we come back for the races.

David was very nice and accommodating. Yes, there was a cat there but the cat was friendly and independent. There was no odor in the house, the room was nice, comfortable and clean, as was the rest of the house. I'd definitely stay there again.

We have been visiting The Red Rose Inn for the past 8 years with a wonderful experience every time. The rooms look as wonderful as they are advertised on their web site and the owner David Nickels prepares the "best" and most filling breakfast we have ever had. They have a wonderful indoor hot tub room, perfect for romantic evenings... More

The internet photos posted online do not reflect the sad state of this B&B. There is an abondoned hot tub in the front yard and Christmas decorations piled at the front door (6months after the holidays). The smell of cat greets you when you open the front door and the lack of cleanliness and order continues inside. I couldn't imagine... More
