The rooms are clean and homey, the breakfast has a variety of cereals, biscuits gravy yogurt etc. While the hotel is not fancy it is a great place for the budget price. If you are a walker it is not far from the theaters/downtown. It is not far from the creek to creek bike path or the the Bear Creek... More

On the plus side, the room was big, price was ok and windows could be opened for fresh mountain air. On the negative side..A carload of homeless people parked directly outside our street-level room, 3 adults and a baby made noise and a mess all night with food and cigarette butts tossed all around, talking & peeing in the bushes,... Since Ashland is a pricey town period, the overall quality of this lodging is probably appropriate for the price... which is why I gave it 4 stars as opposed to 3. There were lots of little things that could be improved: dripping kitchenette sink, too much room deodorizer, obviously dirty towel on the rack, dirty plasticware dispenser in breakfast room,... here is the 1%--to get it out of the way. Our oven had no rack, and try as i might, I couldn't get Mgt to bring one. (i think asking twice is plenty). But the other 99% was fine. We were there 7 days. All the amenities are listed. And you won't find a better price in this town of... More

My daughter and her boyfriend attempted to find a place in ashland, on a weekend, 2 days before arriving...this is what was available. My frame of mind when we pulled up was "I will just pretend I am camping"...and I do NOT camp. Clean, relatively quiet, pool, and quite inexpensive! We had booked several rooms, but they allowed us to... More

This was our first time in Ashland, our stay was very disappointing. The room is so outdated in decor & bedding it didn't feel warm & inviting. The picture frame above the bed was full of dead bugs including a silverfish. The sheets had long hairs left on them. I looked online for a new place to stay but everything... More

We stayed here on our way back to Portland from Southern California and it did not disappoint! I was a little nervous from the online pics that it would be really outdated and dingy but it was nice, clean and the beds were comfortable. It did smell a little musty when we first walked in but as soon as we... More

I have been staying at the Cedarwood every July for 5 years. Almost didn't stay again after last year but I'm happy to say they have improved. New bed linens were very nice and the continental breakfast had more choices this year. Must be new owners. Still not a fancy motel, but half the cost of motels that are close... More

A hot day in Ashland, the pools very inviting. We had the family room- very good to stretch out and enjoy time away from the family it even has a stove and full sized fridge if you're staying for a few days. 2 miles from downtown and the theaters. a very enjoyable visit

Conveniently located about 2 miles south of Ashland, the Cedarwood is an older 60/70's style motel with 4 stories (and no elevator). Don't book an upper floor if you have trouble with stairs. The room was clean with no frills but did have a kitchen in it - full fridge and stove which is nice if you are going budget.... More
