Hotel was under rennovation; grounds and rooms were quiet, clean and inviting. Particularly liked the suite layout. We were able to use the bathroom, sleeping, sitting rooms without disturbing each other. Located away from downtown Ashland, but easy short ride into town activities. Good restaurants and gas nearby. Easy on/off freeway. more
Efficient check in. Clean rooms. Nice arrangement of suites to accommodate families more
We truly enjoyed our stay. It was a great place; quiet and comfortable. The rooms were clean and up to date. The beds were very comfy and the air conditioner was very welcome. It would be a wonderful place for a family with kids. I liked how they brought our breakfast to our door. more

This property used to be called The Windmill Inn, and you'll still see that name all over. It is no longer all a hotel, as over half the buildings are in disuse. It's a little weird checking in; you follow signs and wind around, then park and go in one of the downstairs suites where there is a reception desk.... more

First, I thank all of the cogent folks on TripAdvisor for giving us a lead to this hotel. It is excellent!! OK, it's not a Four Seasons, but we stayed 4 nights over the Labor Day weekend at a TOTAL price less than 1 night at a Four Seasons. The rooms are SPACIOUS, as they are in a suite format.... more
