We lucked out and enjoyed a ground floor suite by the courtyard far from the road. Almost no one else at the hotel so it was soooo nice and quiet! However, when there were a few other guests I could hear the usual doors closing in the halls etc. And the dog next door yipping when the owner left him... More

This is the most value for the money while traveling that we may have ever experienced. Here are some of the highlights: Just around 100 dollars including pet. Huge room... Big bath, extra vanity outside bath, lots of closet space, kitchenette, living room, bedroom, little patio. You could have extended stay here and be very comftable. Very helpful and friendly... More

Stayed here over a week this November. I think the most important thing about a hotel are the bed and pillows so AHH rates high here. What good is a hotel if you can't sleep due to a crummy bed. The view of the sunrise coming up over the hills from my bed was fabulous. Get a room facing East... More

Only stayed one night but it was a winner! Upgraded to a suite in the back building. Clean, quiet, comfortable, easy access, with great restaurants within 5 minutes and fantastic brewery down the street. Plenty of parking. What more could you want?!

When we first drove up to the hotel I thought we were in deep trouble, it looked like it was closed down. This is a older facility and if you want modern and new this is not the place for you. Check in has efficient and no problems. we had to drive several buildings before we found our unit, not... More

We checked possible hotels during our drive to Ashland because would have stopped before Ashland with bad weather. Reviews were good, so we called, got a suite and freeway access sounded easy. Pet friendly, and we were traveling with our wonderful Standard Poodle. The suite in the pet area had a living room, and kitchen. Comfy king size bed. Amazing.... More

The suite is nice but if breakfast is important than it is not the place to stay. The breakfast basket is more of a joke as there wasn't anything really worth taking the time to eat. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and it was quiet. Our breakfast basket had no banana as that would have been nice... More

We stayed here on the last night of a three week vacation. We were surprised and delighted by the accommodations. The spacious suite had an outdoor sitting area with a garden/barbecue common area just beyond. The setting with the hills in the distance was beautiful. We were traveling with two dogs and there was a beautiful area to walk them.... More

I've stayed at the Ashland Hills four times in the last couple of years and as a person traveling with 2 small dogs, it's a great place to stay.....The hotel is in major, one section at a time, renovation mode after languishing in a competitive market during lean economic times.....At one point 20 years ago, it was THE place to... This is the second time we have stayed at the property while attending OSF. We found the front desk personnel friendly and helpful and our suite overlooking the courtyard was just what was requested. The room was spacious with amenities complimentary to our stay. When these folks ever finish construction on this property it will be even more desirable. Compliments... More
