Honestly I have never written a review but my experience was dreadful! I came to Ashland to look at rentals as I planned to relocate. Upon arrival I found NO parking. But that was the least of it! I was confounded when I found the phone in my room did not work... matter fact none of them did. So as... More

Our visit was perfect. The Winchester Inn is ideally located just steps from Main Street with shopping and restaurants. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and full of amenities. The gourmet breakfasts were huge and delicious. And the treats in the afternoon were such a nice touch. This was a great choice!

We have had our 2nd Christmas dinner here. The Inn and the rooms are clean and tastefully decorated.( in case you want to spend the night). The dinner itself consists of 5 courses which includes three different entrees. Last night was Primerib and Eggplant which we shared. The entertainment during dinner precedes each food selection. The entertainers are historically garbed... More

This was our first time to the Inn, we had the Dickens Feast and then spent the night. The dinner was fantastic! The meal was excellent as were the characters and singers in period costumes. All staff was very attentive and the dinning was elegant, comfortable and very fun. The breakfast the next morning was also excellent and again, so... More

This B&B, and it's restaurant 'Alchemy", is one of our favorite places in Ashland. They have provided outstanding accommodations and service over several stays. Decor is different in every room, with many antiques, and comfortable, cozy beds. Anything we requested was provided, and they offer several different packages for special occasions. Breakfast does not disappoint, either...delicious offerings!

We rolled up to the inn around three in the afternoon. Parking was not great! Town was very busy. We were lucky to find one fairly close. Entering the door just made you relax! All of the staff were superb. The inns decore is very nice. I was expecting to feel sort of out of place in my jeans and... More

I have stayed at the Inn 3 or 4 times and been consistently pleased with the accommodations, the service and the food. This is truly an inn, not a B & B-- a positive for me. The rooms do vary greatly in size, but that should be evident from their descriptions. The location is perfect--you can walk to all the... More

We stayed for a weekend to celebrate our anniversery. The location is close to downtown, and a short walking distance to the main street. Close to shops, restaurants etc.. The street area is quiet, steep hill location, and parking can be hard to find. When we checked in there was no parking, so they allowed us to use the designated handicap... More

Positives: Lovely staff and amazing breakfast. Close to all that Ashland offers. Negatives: When we entered the reception area which is also the entrance for their TOP restaurant 'Alchemy' we were hit in the face with a very instuitional smell. My partner is a Physician so he knows the smell well. We seriously paused and almost turned around but had... More

I am sorry that your expectations for the stay were not met. I hope that you let someone know during your short stay of your displeasure, as we would have done everything we could do to help with making your stay more enjoyable. Parking in Ashland is tough, but we do indeed have just enough spaces for every guest to... More

When I saw the outside of this Victorian Inn I thought it would be full of sort of rickety furniture and fusty rose colored wallpaper. Not at all the case! My room was large, clean and modern with an especially beautiful bathroom. Coffee and tea in the room, an umbrella to borrow if need be, cookies to nibble on at... More
