We have stayed at the Peerless Hotel on our annual trips to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival for over a decade. The rooms (suites, really) are each unique, comfortable, full of historic charm and nice touches like extra pillows, beautiful fabrics, comfortable chairs and sofas, and a music system. The sun room and, in nice weather, the beautifully landscaped grounds are... More

This was our fourth stay at the Peerless and we have never been disappointed with our accommodations and the hospitality afforded us. This year because we have been a repeat client and were here for OSF, Michael upgraded our reservation to room #7, a lovely suite. The Inn also provided breakfast and remembered a special dietary request from our stay... More

We almost always stay at the Peerless when we go to Ashland. We love the location down in the old railroad district. It is quiet and charming and within easy walking distance of the theaters, the shops and the restaurant. While the rooms are a bit funky, we love the comfort of the large bathrooms, the jetted tubs, and the... More

We stayed here one night in April for our anniversary. It is an historical, brick hotel authentically decorated and very comfortable. Take the time to look at the pictures in the downstairs hall. They give you a great perspective of early Ashland and make you appreciate the renovations necessary to bring the hotel to its current status. The staff makes... More

Wonderful ambience in the center of Ashland and near everything. Peaceful and beautifully done. Michael is the consummate host. Suite #7 was a dream to be in. My wife and I took in Ashland in the morning from the little patio. Breakfast was delightful and prepared to our needs.

We spent four nights at the Peerless Hotel on our first visit to Ashland to catch plays at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. The half-dozen rooms are quite comfortable with very nice touches and high-end amenities. Nothing bland or cookie-cutter here. Multi-channel cable audio in each room, but no televisions (which is fine, as the vibe at the Peerless is more... More

We stayed here one night in August. Lots of character, delicious breakfast, close enough to walk to nightlife spots downtown, and the happy hour/tapas in their adjoining restaurant were not only a fantastic deal but fabulous!

The Peerless Hotel is the perfect place to stay when visiting Ashland. This small, classic and charming hotel is ideally suited for Oregon Shakespeare Festival visitors. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The restaurant next door is outstanding, sit outside if you can. We have been staying there for five years now and wouldn't even consider anywhere else. The... More

We were looking for relaxing stay while travelling from Crater Lake to the Redwoods National Park and we got it! We arrived by motorcycle and requested a early checking and the hotel was happy to accommodate yes . We had room #6 and loved it .....not like someone from Aug 9 who complained about it . The building is very... More

We were celebrating our anniversary so we decided to stay in room 7 which is a suite on the top floor. The breakfast is served in the Peerless restaurant and was very good both days that we were there. The first day was apple bread, fruit salad and an asparagus and morel mushroom scramble with Canadian bacon. The second morning... More
