We have stayed at Oak Hill Bed and Breakfast for many years when we make our annual Ashland trip with our favorite traveling couple. The innkeepers at Oak Hill have become friends, and our yearly reunion just becomes better and better. The quality of the rooms, amenities, breakfast, play critiques, and wonderful conversations just gets better every year. The other... More

The husband & I stayed here 2 nights while visiting our son & his fiancée in Ashland. Great location, just minutes from our son & downtown Ashland. Pat & Tom are lovely people with a comfortable home who are happy to give you as much company or privacy as you desire. Spent both evenings visiting in their beautiful gardens &... More

Tom and Pat run a wonderful B&B. The rooms are very good sized for a B&B. Everything is immaculate. The common areas, especially the huge deck, are very inviting. The guests eat at a common table (indoors in inclement weather, otherwise outdoors in the garden), so lively discussion is encouraged. (If you want to be grumpy and alone at breakfast,... More

We just returned from Pat & Tom's Oak Hill Bed & Breakfast. We feel like family when we are there. We have stayed in a couple of different rooms but our favorite is the Garden Room. It is connected to the main house but you feel very private. The weather was hot with thunder showers but that didn't stop anyone... More

You don't know the meaning of a clean room until you have stayed here! Immaculate in every detail. And a wonderful and innovative breakfast served to guests all together unless you prefer to eat separately. Gives you a chance to meet other guests and hear about plays or activities you did not plan to include. Take time to talk with... More

Pat and Tom Howard are surely the best innkeepers in Ashland. They are deeply involved in both OSF and the community and are more than happy to answer any question you may have. Pat is a gourmet cook and is widely acknowledged as providing the best breakfasts in town. Wonderful beds and total comfort in the inn's common areas-we wish... More

Third time my family has stayed here, and, I had to laugh when I saw someone had written that Oak Hill Bed and Breakfast was not in walking distance of the plays. My 92 year old stepfather and my 79 year old mother had no problem walking the SLIGHT distance 4 times...!!! That said, lets talk rooms and hospitality... Look,... More

Second time we've stayed here and would go back again, although I do wish it was within walking distance of the theater district. Different bedroom this time & we were still enamored of the comfortable beds! Cozy, lovely setting and the proprietors are terrific. Enjoyed a few hours on the back deck with a book and glasses of wine. Breakfast... More

As visiting filmmakers in for the Ashland Independent Film Festival, we weren’t quite sure what to expect from Oak Hill B&B, as the festival had arranged our accommodations. We were not disappointed. In fact, if we ever return to Ashland, we will demand to stay at Oak Hill again, as I can’t imagine a cozier, friendlier or more inviting experience.... More

Our five-day stay was most restful, and the hospitality was warm without being intrusive. Each breakfast was different, attractively presented, and very tasty. I particularly appreciated the edible garnishes from the inn's garden. We spent hours in the afternoon reading in the large outdoor area that offered both sunny and shaded seating, including a pergola with porch swing. Oak Hill... More
