Loved our stay here for our anniversary. Beautiful room with jetted tub and gas fireplace. Chairs to sit and read in, refrigerator and microwave in our room. Chuck and Laurel make staying there like staying with family. Chuck was helpful in bringing the luggage up the stairs. We took our liitle pomeranian dog and felt welcome with her. Caelan, their... more

A 4 story log home located on the shoulder of Mt. Ashland. Views abound - Mt Shasta to the south, Mt McLaughlin to the east - both viewable from inside or outside the inn. Chuck and Laurel are quite accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was great. We got up before sunrise and were astounded when the sun came up. The valley... more

We have stayed at the Inn many times and every time, is as enjoyable as was the first time. Laurel, Chuck and Caelan always make us feel welcome. We have stayed in most of the rooms but the favorite is McLoughlin , with its views of two mountains. The breakfasts are always something to look forward to. It is always... more

Our stay with Laurel, Chuck, Caelan and Powder will be a lifelong memory. Their warm, welcoming and caring way made me feel like we were staying with friends. Laurel greeted us on our arrival and because I had so many questions regarding their rooms - Laurel was gracious and offered us a complete tour. Allowing us to choose a room... more

I think that this was one of the most special places I have been in a long time.We were cared for when we wanted the attention and left alone when we wanted to be alone. Laurel & Chuck are doing a great job at being personal which comes natural to them. I will definetly be back hopfully soon. Very romantic... more

Of the many B&B's I have stayed in over the years the Mt Ashland Inn has been consistently the best when it comes to the fabulous mountain views, the best gourmet breakfast, and the warmest hospitality. more

This place has been a consistent and wonderful retreat for my wife and I over several years. Every time we go we wish we could stay longer, but we leave refreshed and renewed, none-the-less. The views are spectuacular, the hosts flexible and amiable (we're usually late arriving), fun servants, and whatever the weather, the food is spectacular and the amenities... more

I've been remiss by not writing a review for the Mt Ashland Inn even though we have been frequent and highly satisfied visitors. We have been enjoying Laurel & Chuck's hospitality for many years so must now share our joy with others! The rufous hummingbirds are one of our favorite sights! Walking the alpine trail up on the mountain also... more

I am sorry to voice a bit of dissent here, but actually the last 2 times I've stayed at the Mt. Ashland Inn I've met with some real problems. I love the views from the room (each room has a perfect view of a different mountain: gorgeous!), and I have very happy memories of previous years. So I keep going... more

This is our first experience with someone who is unhappy with our establishment (as you can see by the other comments). We, the owners of the Mt Ashland Inn, take time off extremely infrequently and when we do, anyone working for us is put through rigorous training in order to create a seamless transition. We do often contact guests to...

Wonderful experience! Host and hostess were very welcoming, including their son and dog Powder. We stayed in the Shasta room which was nicely decorated, clean, and had a wonderful jet tub. We highly recommend this modern, peaceful B&B, especially if you're looking for seclusion and ample hiking on the nearby Pacific Crest Trail. more
