We stayed for two nights to visit the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and we loved the House and the staff. Our room was very comfortable and the staff were great. There were loads of unexpected surprises like a free ice cream tasting, cookies and muffins in the evening and an impromptu talk about the history of the house by the manager.... More

We stayed at McCall House while attending the Shakespeare Festival. It's a great location -- easy walking distance to the theaters, restaurants, park, etc. The house is beautiful. It retains its historic character while providing up to date accommodations. Breakfast was excellent. The innkeeper, Daniel, is friendly and gracious, and he gave an interesting commentary on the history of the... More

This was our ninth visit to McCall House in the last 5 years. The innkeepers, Daniel and Jacob are more than helpful. The historic house is well-tended by them. Our room, the Phyllis Courtney is on the main floor which we like, although we have stayed in others upstairs and like them just as well. The breakfast is gourmet and... More

Walk down the block to the theaters or for dinner, shopping or lunch. We stayed in the Chaucer room. It was lovely, comfortable, clean, perfectly furnished with antiques. The bathroom in our room was modern and beautiful. The breakfast was gourmet: Corn muffin with bacon and cider jelly, freshly squeezed OJ, egg cooked to order on blackbean with mushroom and... More

Thank you for your kind words... Making sure that credit goes where credit is due... that wonderful breakfast, you described, was prepared by Chef Justin Wolf. Justin is new to our staff this season... but he's been the perfect addition to our little family since the day he started. He's know for coming up with some of the healthiest and... More

Historical, friendly, beautiful and comfortable....and walking distance from the exemplary Oregon Shakespeare Festival, beautiful Lithia Park and excellent restaurants. Every hope for a pleasant stay was more than amply met. The hosts have a contagious enthusiasm for the history of this 135 yr. old house and the breakfast was superior. You can't go wrong.

Thank you for your kind words... Contagious Enthusiasm... I suppose I do...but I can't help it!!! I think our B&B is one of the most beautiful homes in Ashland. There are very few, if any, Italianate Mansions in this area. So... A beautiful home, close to everything, a staff that really understands what customer service means, and, what many guests... More

MCCALL HOUSE in Ashland Oregon is the quintessential bed-and-breakfast. With weather and activities to suit every interest short of skiing there can be no better place to vacation. The innkeeper supreme is Daniel Perry. Daniel is the ring master for a group of courtesans beyond compare. The details with which they manage your visit are exquisite and comforting. Your return... Visited Ashland during our summer vacation in August 2014. Had a very pleasant one night stay at the McCall house. Very interesting and historic property. Extremely convenient to downtown and the various sites. Visited during the annual Shakespeare Festival so the house and city were very busy. We stayed in the Chaucer room which was roomy with a nice sitting... More

We stopped at McCall house on a long road trip from California to British Columbia. It was such a welcome respite from the predictability and anonymity of chain hotels. The house is a restored beauty, run flawlessly by Daniel and Jake, who took care of us impeccably. It is a historic house with many beautiful preserved features and superbly kept... More

My wife and I spent a lovely night at McCall house in the Rutherford B Hayes room. The home was lovely and elegant, our room eminently comfortable and welcoming.
