Very pretty B&B with gracious staff. We were "upgraded" twice and shown to the original master bedroom, with 4-poster bed, electric fireplace (which was the heater and had a remote-control thermostat!), and very lovely large bathroom. Nola, the owner, was extremely accommodating especially given that we arrived early and needed to depart early -- we were served an early breakfast... more

McCall House has charming decor, friendly staff, pleasant food, and a convenient location. However, it is not a good choice for a romantic getaway or people who want to sleep in. After trying several housing options in Ashland, my friend and I tried McCall House for our annual Shakesperean Festival base. This year was our 9th time. We park our car for... more

My wife and I stayed there the end of October for a couple nights. Excellent location within walking distance of everything. We parked the car on Friday, unloaded, and never got back in the car again until Sunday morning. About a block or 2 from the theaters, within one block from Standing Stone Brewery, bunch of nice resturants and bars... more

We stayed 2 nites in August '06 at this lovely B&B. It is an easy walk to the downtown scene. The owner has put much thought into this establishment. I was impressed with the condition - great attention to detail with the paint job inside & out. The B&B was a pleasure to stay in. The rooms ( we stayed... more
