Ashland is a special place and Cowslip's Belle B&B makes our twice-yearly trips like coming home. Long-time owners Jon & Carmen are wonderful hosts & great cooks. We look forward to breakfasts not just for the ample offerings, but for the company of congenial and intelligent fellow guests. We particularly like the townhouse suites, complete with kitchens and private fireplaces.... more

In business 25 years, under the same owners, we highly recommend Cowslip’s Belle as our favorite Bed and Breakfast! In the last 30 years we have stayed in a variety locations including hotels, motels and other B & B’s before discovering Cowslip’s Belle. This B & B is conveniently located but three blocks from the Shakespeare Festival, the downtown shops... more

We just spent 5 nights at Cowslip Belle and found it a great B&B. The rooms were comfortable and charming, they had a peaceful and relaxing yard and the proprietors were great hosts. To top it all off they made a wonderful breakfast every morning. In addition to being helpful with restaurant and other recommendations, the hosts were flexible and... more

This is a prime location for a gentle walk to the theatre. The innkeepers are warm upon arrival and eager to please and often use their Innkeeper clout to make last minute dinner restaurants. They are delightful people who enjoy the lively breakfast discussion and often join guests for engaging play reviews or book reviews or travel tips as they,... more

We've been staying at Cowslip's almost since we started coming to Ashland and have occasionally had to stay elsewhere when they were full. We always come back! The breakfasts are wonderful and varied with home-made muffins, fresh fruit, great coffee, and then of course - the main course! My favorites are the dutch babies but their waffles with home made... more

My husband and I have been staying at the Cowslip's Belle B&B twice a year for over 20 years. The rooms are well appointed without being fussy and the breakfasts are delicious (juice, fruit, pastries, and an egg entree or waffles/pancakes). Jon and Carmen Reinhardt have created an atmosphere of convivial and interesting conversation at the breakfast table where we... more

We have made annual pilgrimages to Ashland for the last 15 years and for the last 12 have stayed at the Cowslip's Belle. The proprietors-Jon and Carmen-are the most gracious and accomodating hosts we could ever hope for. The breakfast conversations are not to be missed along with their absolutely fabulous breakfasts! All of the rooms are beautifully decorated and... more

We made a reservation for this bed and breakfast in May for a visit in early July. In mid-June, my chronic back problem necessitated immediate surgery for a herniated disc. This meant we had to cancel our entire Oregon vacation, including the stay in Ashland. I called two weeks prior to the date of our reservation, and was told by... more

My husband and I stayed at this charming bed and breakfast on September 29th for a weekend getaway last minute, to see a play at the Shakespeare festival. We loved the room, upper suite was a cozy hideaway with a balcony overlooking the mountains and a large jacuzzi tub. The linens were sooo soft and the bed and pillows (there... more
