The owners are friendly. The breakfast is delicious and unique. The room is clean and very comfortable. The garden is a lovely place to sit and read. The front porch has an inviting swing. This was our second 6 day stay at Chanticleer. The rooms are spacious, well designed, and clean. The garden is lovely. The location is close to the OSF theaters, shopping and restaurants, yet in a quiet and lovely residential neighborhood. We spent three nights at The Chanticleer while attending the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Our room was attractive and had a very comfortable king-size bed. The bathroom was fairly new, very clean and functional, but could have been a bit bigger (hence 4 stars rather than 5).
