We made a reservation a month earlier on their web site for one evening and received an emailed confirmation from their outsourced reservation system. When we arrived after a 4-hour drive with a printout of the emailed confirmation, the hotel had no record of our reservation and were at first not particularly helpful in helping us resolve the issue, which... Thank you for sharing your feedback on trip advisor. We apologize that you had this experience of making a reservation which (by our error) was not properly inputed into our system. We understand how frustrated you must have felt after arriving after a long drive without a guaranteed room at our resort. You are correct in your assessment that the... More

My bad. Missed getting reservations at Ashland Springs Hotel. Rooms and gardens are beautiful. Found this "sister" property. Sounded great. Not so...just off freeway, next to car dealer, and across from a hippy compound. And, they don't tell you the mineral water piped into your room really STINKS when the tub fills up. Hearing music from the hippy compound across... More

From the moment we arrived to find our room had been upgraded, we were treated by a courteous and friendly staff. Our room was lovely and very large. The grounds were all gardens and it was a pleasure to wander them. Unfortunately, the temperature was in the 90s, so we didn't spend as much time outdoors as we would have... More

I travelled solo to Ashland for a conference and the conference hotel was booked. I was able to book myself into the Lithia Springs and was very glad that I did! I stayed in a spa bungalow - the room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The pool had just opened and I enjoyed an afternoon reading a novel pool side.... More

We recently reserved several rooms for a wedding party in early July, 2014. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, professional and especially friendly! We actually stayed in 3 different rooms during our week long stay. Each room were delightful and the breakfast every morning was exceptional..especially the scones!

In April my husband treated me to a trip to Ashland for my 50th birthday. We stayed at Lithia Springs as we have done before. This trip we were impressed by the redecoration of the cottages. They were decorated very peacefully. The flowers were just starting to pop out in the lovely gardens that surround the cottages and property. Although... More

The Lithia Springs Resort is a sister property of The Ashland Springs Hotel. Located a few miles out of downtown Ashland, the grounds and the buildings are beautiful. We had a bungalow which was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The complimentary breakfast was very generous with a wide variety of choices including several hot dishes. The cons were that the... More

Beautiful wild gardens surround the perfectly decorated, clean and serene rooms at this lovely inn. The softest white linen, fluffiest towels, most delicious homemade breakfast, a wonderful staff, a brand new salt water pool not to mention fresh cookies and lavender lemonade. A wonderful, relaxing place to stay while in Ashland for the Shakespeare Festival.

What a pleasant surprise! Recent updating to the decor and grounds is impressive. The suites are very comfortable with high end finishes everywhere. Our Westies were made to feel very welcome. They especially enjoyed exploring the gardens; complete with lush lawns, cozy cupola, fish pond and lavender borders. With temperatures in the high 90's during our stay, the park-like commons... Overall experience was wonderful. I loved the jetted tub in the room- yes, the mineral spring water does emit a sulphur like smell, but it quickly dissipates. I loved the décor in the room and the resort itself and being a bedding snob- I couldn't wait getting into bed after a soak in the tub! The breakfast was delicious and... More
