Kovely old house convertednto very comfortable B&B. we stayed in rthe upstairs king room with the clawfoot bathtub. Bed was very comfortable, food was delicious, organic and fresh. Table was artistically set each morning and the fruit salad to start each breakfast was too. Chocolate brownies or cookies for afternon snacks and sherry before bed! Garden out back was beautiful... When you're shopping for a house, "cozy" is code for small. In our case, I think "cozy" really means "homey" and "safe-feeling." This house and yard have extraordinarily peaceful vibes. You can't help but leave feeling refreshed. Thank you so much for your review. Onward and upward! More

Such a nice place to stay! Friendly hosts, excellent breakfast, comfortable rooms and beds. A lovely garden and board games and record player for guest use are great touches that make this B and B a treasure. This was our first B and B experience, and we will definitely stay at the Albion Inn again.

We're so glad your first B&B experience was with us! May it be the beginning of many B&B visits. As you noticed with your visit, a B&B has touches that most hotels don't have, such as board games and free munchies. Thank you for taking the time to share your review! More

We enjoyed everything about our stay at the Albion Inn. It is in a quiet neighborhood that is a close walk to great dining, the theaters, Lithia Park and shopping. We stayed in the courtyard king which is attached to the main house. It has a view of the beautiful rose garden and easy access to the main house where... More

Friendly hosts and a lovely place to Stay in Ashland. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms peaceful and pretty. Our host was interesting, friendly, respectful, and a very good cook. wholeheartedly recommend this B&B. Lots of board/card games available downstairs made for some sweet family time. We kind of didn't want to leave our rooms!

This is such a fantastic place to stay. We stayed here last summer and enjoyed it so much we came back. We like the walking distance to the theaters and restaurants, the rooms are lovely and the beds are very comfortable. Even though it was 100 degrees outside, our upstairs room stayed cool with the AC. The food served is... More

Thanks for writing your review. You promised to write one and you did! I'm especially glad you gave thumbs-up to our hard-working air conditioning system. We replaced it only three years ago, so it ought to be top-notch. Glad you liked my gluten-free goodies! More

We stayed here for just one night on our way to Portland but had a lovely stay. The location is excellent and made it easy for us to walk to town and to the Shakespeare festival theater. The rooms were spotless and charming and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was all organic and very delicious. The owners take excellent... More

Thank you for writing your review. It's so considerate of you to share your observations with others. I was sorry to hear you were cold in bed at night. We would have been happy to adjust the AC temp so it would not be so cool. As I recall, the folks in the room across the hall from you liked... More

There are many choices in Ashland, but the Albion was peaceful and just the right walk, down a wide alley, to the theaters. The breakfast was creative and organic and delicious. There were always nuts and brownies as well as sherry and teas to snack on. The garden was in full bloom and had tables and comfortable chairs for lounging.... More

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay, despite the temperature related issues. The Courtyard Queen room is farthest from the water heater and it takes a looong time for the hot water to get to the room. Once it does, it's plenty hot. Wish it was faster. Maybe a tankless water heater is the solution for that room. As far... More

We feel so comfortable at the Albion Inn that we usually reserve our next year's stay while we're there or as soon as we've set our dates for the following year. We've always stayed in the Chautauqua room each time; it's in the main house and has a lot of charm. Although the windows face onto Union Street and the... More
