we really enjoyed our 2 night stay at this Ashland B&B. it was a short 4 block walk to the shakespeare festival (while admiring neighbor's gardens from the alley,) but we especially liked meeting all the other guests at the gourmet breakfast, and the entertaining hosts. we also went to a winery, and bought shoes downtown. we didn't have time... more

Having been to a variety of Ashland B&Bs over the years, this proved the best for many reasons. The owners, new this season, are enthusiastic about their work and provide a cheery, friendly atmosphere. Syd is always checking that everything is fine and anticipates possible needs. Their dogs and cats do not come into the Inn yet provide a homey... more

We come to Ashland for the Shakespeare Festival and love the Albion Inn Bed and Breakfast. It is within easy walking distance to both the theaters and fine restaurants. The innkeepers, Syd and Gary, are delightful, informative and extremely accommodating. The little touches -- like the constant flow of complimentary homemade cookies, fresh fruit, chocolates and sherry -- make your... more

My husband and I love this inn! Everything was wonderful! The inn keepers are very sweet people who care a lot about their guests. They are very knowledgeable about what there is to see and do in the beautiful little town of Ashland. You get a delicious hot breakfast every morning and there is always interesting conversations at the breakfast... more

This quaint inn is within walking distance of central Ashland shops and theatres. The rooms are very quiet and the garden setting is relaxing and tranquil. The craftman-styled inn is a registered historic building with beautiful woodwork inside. The inn is also an art gallery with paintings by the contemporary artist Bob Burridge who creates bold, colorful works of still... more

We just returned from the Albion Inn. The inn is a registered national historic building. What a delightful experience. The innkeeper/chef Cyd made us feel right at home. Her breakfasts are incredible. Breakfast is served in a bright, open dining area that overlooks her beautifully manicured English gardens. The rooms are meticulously clean and comfortable. It is just the type... more

It was over 100 degrees every day we were in Ashland seeing plays. And, it was pure bliss to come back to our air conditioned room after being out in the heat. We stayed in the Courtyard Twin room and it was right off a gorgeous garden. Coffee every morning in the garden was a real treat. And, so were... more

This is a 5 room B&B located about a 10 minute walk from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival theaters. The house is old and the rooms are adequate in size. The furniture is very comfortable, and the housekeeping immaculate. There are excellent internet connections, and modern electronics. Cyd, the hostess, serves some of the best breakfasts that we ever had at... more

I have long looked forward to an opportunity to attend the Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, Oregon. How could I imagine that the pleasures of staying at the Albion Inn and getting aquainted with the proprietor, Cyd Robb, would provide happier memories than the play we saw. Mrs Robb provided us with rooms beautifully furnished with antiques, complete living space to... more

Hard to know where to start...so let's start with Syd the most friendly innkeeper ever! And, she is a wonderful cook so get ready for terrific breakfasts. She is dedicated to "no chemicals" and so all her food is fresh and clean and tasty. She offers snacks on the buffet sideboard all day and lovely sherry as well. The inn... more
