We two couples choose the Albion for these qualities: 1) Pet Friendly ( they were "super" pet friendly in the Courtyard Queen Room and the garden areas) 2) Walking distance close to the hub-bub of downtown ( very close and we did it several times) 3) Reasonably priced during mid-week, in April ( was able to stay 3 nights, only... It might be a good B&B, but the communication is terrible. They told me that I had to check in before 5pm. Since I didn't think I could make it until 5, I asked if it was possible to check in later or if they'd recommend going for a different B&B instead. I never heard back. When I finally arrived... This person tried to book a room from the road the day before arrival. All communication was via email. I requested she phone so we could discuss the situation, but she said her phone was from overseas and wasn't working. She was told in writing that the office would close at 5 pm and we needed her contact information and... More

We have enjoyed bed and breakfast inns in many towns over the years, and this one of the best ever. The atmosphere and décor are excellent, the food is also excellent (and organic). The owners are very inviting and interesting - one of the owner's is an author and they have backgrounds in counseling, philosophy, mathematics and computer science; they... More

Terrific review! I love all the details, like the romantic fireplace and the cat who sits. (no animals allowed in the main house, be assured). Wonderful talking with you and your interesting friends. Thanks for sharing them all with us! Hope to see you again. More

Cyd and Gary are just the greatest hosts. The rooms are wonderful with comfortable beds, lots of warm blankets, nice toiletries and decent views. The breakfasts that we had were delicious with coffee at 7:00 in the dining room, which we love. Cyd is up very early preparing the wonderful food and preparing our table. Cognac and chocolates all day... More

My husband and I spent the weekend in the Albion Inn and what a wonderful time we had! The Inn is beautiful with nice sized, clean, comfortable rooms. The dinning area, sitting area and TV room were perfect. The innkeepers were welcoming, helpful and fun while not being intrusive. Both days we had fantastic breakfasts that included fresh fruit, pastries,... More

Forget about fussy lace doilies and go straight to the Albion Inn in Ashland for a comfortable room, good location, entertaining and enlightening conversation, lovely sitting garden, and a breakfast that will give you the energy you need to tackle a day of shopping and theater. We spent three separate weekends at the Albion during this theater season and were... More

We stayed the Albion Inn because of the great reviews and we were not disappointed. Our room was comfortable and had an abundance of storage space. The bed has a 3" thick foam-type mattress but with plenty of support. Wonderful after a full day of activities. Additionally, Innkeeper Cyd is a great cook. I don't know what she does differently... Thanks for your review! I'm glad you enjoyed your stay, as well as the food. I think the food tastes better because the good company and conversation enhances the entire culinary experience. That, plus the all organic and natural foods we serve. I think the reviewer meant to say 3" mattress topper, rather than 3" mattress. Just want to clear... More

My daughter and I stayed at the Albion Inn for 2 nights in August. Everything was perfect, from the room to the meals and the company. We both enjoyed our stay immensely, especially our downtime in the garden. Highly recommend.

My wife and I were fortunate to have stayed at the Albion. Cyd was a great hostess. The food, grounds, and location were terrific They are one of very few bed and breakfasts with wheelchair access. But whatever your needs, they seem very eager to accommodate you. Highly recommended!.
