As always, had a great stay at the Bard's. We've been staying there for 20 + years for the Festival. They've kept the quality high and the prices reasonable. It's always our "go to" hotel in Ashland. You can easily walk to the theaters and further into downtown but if don't feel like straying too far, there are great restaurants... More

Stayed here for a road trip stopover en route to Portland from SF. Arrived very late at night (1am) to an easy check in. Rooms motel style (we're from the UK, at least how we expect a 'motel' to be!) but comfortable and big bed. We slept well. There was a fridge too that we filled with our own things... More

Well-appointed and quiet room. Courteous and knowledgeable staff. Main building and building across Main Street limited to parking (asphalt) and structure. Room cost is fitting for downtown location and facility.

Travelled with a big family group to see Shakespeare in Ashland. The Bard's Inn was perfect for us. Quiet, comfortable, perfect location. Steps away from the theaters, restaurants and shops; but close enough for Grandma to pop back to the room for an afternoon nap. Perfect home base for our Ashland adventure.

Bard's Inn is a great choice in Ashland. The location is convenient to walk to the main street and the Shakespeare theater. The hotel is very big- on several corners at an intersection. We happened to be in a room on the same side as the checkin but I can imagine it being a bit inconvenient if you were across... More

We paid almost $200 for a room that was only worth $75. Very small - we could hardly walk inbetween the bed and furniture. No space to put our toiletries on the sink. The coffee machine was underneath the sink because there was no space to put it anywhere else. The furniture and curtains were very ugly. Not worth the... More

Dear guest, Thanks for taking the time to write a review of our property. I apologize that you were dissatisfied with the room you booked. It sounds like you were in our Nottingham building, which has smaller room types. I'd suggest maybe trying one of our Somerset, or Verona buildings--the rooms are much larger, and most recently renovated. These are... More

My wife was driving to Portland by herself to visit family and this was the halfway stop, we are long time members of Best Western hotel program, so we always try to stay at Best Western because we know most of the time we get good quality. We booked based on reviews and location, when my wife first arrived she... More

This is a very nice Best Western. It is in a great location (within walking distance of shops and restaurants). It has a nice breakfast with a variety of items to choose, including eggs and sausage. My only criticism is that our room with a king size bed was very tiny.

Dear guest, Thanks for taking the time to write a review of our property. It is great to hear that you overall, enjoyed your stay, and our complimentary breakfast. It sounds like this time you were in our older, smaller section, the Nottingham building. I'd recommend trying for one of our large, most recently renovated buildings, Somerset and Verona. Please... What a great place. Shared a very nice double queen room (with a balcony!!) with a friend in the Somerset building (the newer building across the street from the office). Just park and walk everywhere, very conveniently located. All the staff we interacted with were extremely nice (housekeeping, Suzannah, and especially Ryan who went out of his way to help... More
