nice owners, great price good location for downtown, needs fixing up which they are in the process of doing since the new owners have taken over. good place to stay for the basics, nothing fancy..pretty good for a small family owned motel.

Clean and friendly management but do not stay in Room #1. We don’t know if all the rooms are this bad but Room #1 was unfit for a guest room and should not be rented at all. The bathroom was freezing cold and the door didn’t latch closed. There is no light switch on the wall of the bathroom –... More

This was our second time staying at the Manor Motel. We've stayed at other places for a comparable price but found this quaint gem and really enjoyed our stays. We enjoy how close it is to the Shakespeare Festival. It's an easy 10-15 minute walk. (Did it in 15 with my 6 year old - that's how close it is.)... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the Manor Motel in Ashland for the Shakespeare Festival. We had a two room suite with a kitchenette. Couldn't beat the price.. AND there really were no musty, old, or cigarette smells. Plenty of towels and a large bathroom with tub. An oldie but a goodie! The manager, Steve, was exceedingly accomodating and friendly.... First of all I'd like to say that the fellow, Steve, who manages the place is really nice and accomodating. There is also a great picnic area where you can take you dinner, coffee or just go hang out there. The kitchen in our unit was also nicely stocked with pots, pans and everything you need to do meals there.... More

My wife & I have recently stayed at the "old" motel (our 2nd time) on Main St. It is very clean and does not smell of old cigarettes or cleaning solution. The rooms are in the process of being upgraded. Our main room was a bit dark due to one front window, and the bathroom was tiny, but that was... More

The Manor Motel provided us simple, clean, quiet lodging with a full kitchen at an unbeatable rate for staying in Ashland during the Shakespeare Festival season. The motel has a "vintage" sign that could give the first impression that the hotel will be "musty and hokey" -- but it's not. It had a mix of older and newer furnishings/fixtures but... More

Classic motor-court motel from another era. Clean rooms and well maintained for their age. Managers are very nice and accommodating. Close to downtown with nice neighborhood for walking. An exceptional deal.

My family and I spent two nights here en route to and from a gathering in Seattle. My niece and her husband had one room, my partner and I another. I very much appreciated the warm, homey decor and atmosphere of our room - I felt like we were staying in a home, in someone's nice guest room, rather than... More

My partner and I spent two nights at this motel, on our way to and from a family burial in Seattle. We found the room to be homey and appreciated the large bathroom with a combination shower and tub. We made use of the refrigerator and I used the coffee-maker one morning to heat water for tea from the tea... More
