We stayed in the large suite at The Delaunay House in October. The rooms were spacious and warm. The kitchen is positively delightful - lots of space and light and everything you could possibly need to set the elegant dining table. I especially enjoyed the antique stoves and vintage décor. As for the location, it couldn't have been more ideal.... More

We were here for an entire week in the fall in the tiniest room, The Pioneer Suite, I think it was called. It is a very small room, with the weirdest bathroom ever. The sink is beyond tiny (triangle shape) tucked in the corner of a room with a newer tub/shower (that was the good part!) and the toilet opposite... More

We recently stayed in the Delaunay House during our trip to Ashland to watch some of the plays. Location was perfect, a block and a half up and down, less than a five minute walk. Lots of little restaurants and shops within walking distance, including groceries. You can look at the layout of your room before booking so you can... More

My Oregon Shakespeare Festival group just returned from our forth or fifth annual stay at the Delaunay House. We love it! The rooms are comfortable and well appointed, and we love sitting out on the front porch with a book or to chat and watch the world walk by. Plus it is in easy walking distance to the theaters and... This "suite" is actually the living and dining room, except it has 2 beds. And it only has drapes to separate the 2 "rooms" from each other and from the kitchen - truly an awful arrangement and not what we were told. There are other bedrooms which seem adequate, but renter beware. Perhaps ask for a floor plan.

Based on the description on the website and some positive reviews, we thought the Delaunay House would be ideal for our family reunion of seven senior adults for 4 days. However, we were very disappointed to see that the house had been misrepresented by the literature. My wife and I slept in a bed in the living room with absolutely... More

We have stayed in the first floor suite – now Pioneer, formerly Peace Pilgrim- several times- I think this is our 4th visit? We love having the outside sitting spot. The tiny bathroom is through the tiny kitchenette. We save money doing breakfast in- but usually some wonderful Ashland restaurant gets us out to lunch and dinner- with leftovers in... More

The front porch is wonderful, even in this hot weather! The house is very comfortable and has those old house squeaks. Deborah was very gracious and helpful. Downtown with the OSF and places to eat and drink, is three blocks away and the Food Co-op is two blocks away--great location.

We had our annual family reunion in Ashland last summer, and I had to find a place that would suit our large group, ranging in age from 15 to 90, with widely varying tastes and needs. DeLaunay House turned out to be absolutely perfect, and we spent a wonderful week there. The location is amazing. It is an easy walk... More

Two couples plus one stayed 3 nights in three of the 4 suites in this clean, cozy and well appointed, historic craftsman-style home. We could not have asked for better accommodations! Comfortable and spacious, we especially enjoyed visiting with our friends between shows and before dinner on the wonderful front porch and in the sunny upstairs "kitchen". Across the street... More
