Before booking our stay at the Ashland Mountain House I read the reviews here on TripAdvisor to get some ideas. I had a fair idea that staying here would be a pleasant experience. We stayed for two nights at the end of June 2007 and this beautiful B&B did not disappoint!
We were running late for check in due to delays on the I-5 as we drove to Ashland from San Francisco. When I rang the house in a stressful state, I was greeted with the calming tones of John who was so delightful he immediately put me at ease. When we did finally arrive, my breath was taken away by the beauty of this house! After we got out of the car, we were warmly greeted by John with a handshake and given a tour of this beautiful home. John lovingly explained the history of the house and we were totally in awe of how much care and thought had been put into this incredible place.
