We traveled through Ashland on a Sunday when the theater was closed so things were a bit quiet. That worked for us..The Columbia Hotel was easy to find and we had convenient parking behind the hotel. Our room 26 was a queen en suite with air conditioning which we needed this particular day. The staff was welcoming and the room... More

I chose the Columbia Hotel because of its central location---on the main street, 2-3 blocks to the Shakespeare Festival theatres. It is a lovely place, with a good feeling all around. The staff are professional and personable. I stayed in room 15, in a double bed, with 'shared bathroom'. The bathrooms were a short walk around the corner and were... More

We only stayed one night, but thoroughly enjoyed our time in Ashland. Prior to arrival received an email about the hot weather, so we were prepared. The front desk staff were so helpful in recommendations for drinks & dinner. Our room did not have a private bath, which was really not an inconvenience. Location was perfect, parked the car &... We were looking for a place that would allow us to park our car and then walk everywhere during the weekend. This hotel has a very small parking lot (which we never got to use since it was full the entire time we were there.) We unloaded the car at the back door in the parking lot (fewer stairs than... We enjoyed room 11 off the main lobby which included a queen and twin bed as well as private bathroom and air conditioning. (Not all rooms have air or private bath, so be sure to check if this is important to you.) The room is not really a suite, per say as the twin is made up as a day... More

During our trip to see "Ain't Misbehaven we stayed at The Historic Columbia Hotel, in Ashland, Oregon. Ashland's oldest and longest operating hotel. When my sister Jaqui and I stepped inside the hotel we were greeted with a warm ambiance with a lot of charm. Our room number was 2 and we had a lovely view. The staff were extremely... More

We found the Columbia Hotel to be fantastic. I received extremely helpful and informative emails prior to our arrival. The location is perfect (right on Main St. and near the festival theaters). The hotel is charming inside and out (our room had a big private bath and a sunny, airy feel). We very much liked the charming little lobby. And,... More

As we strolled past the Columbia Hotel, it looked interesting but we thought it would be too expensive since it was right on the main street in such a great location. There was a large flight of stairs to get to the hotel too so we moved on. Once at our car, I called them mostly out of interest. We... More

My companion and I very much enjoyed this hotel. We stayed in room 5 which has a bathroom attached although the shared showers and bathrooms did not seem to be inconvenient to others I spoke to. The hotel is just a couple of blocks from the Shakespeare Festival theaters and that's a boon. The hotel staff were very friendly and... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Columbia Hotel. The room was comfortable and airy. There is a lovely lobby to relax in, too. The location is very convenient. Their parking lot is small, but we had no problem finding street parking nearby. I am already planning my next visit there!
