Loved everything about the Palm. The grounds offer several places to sit and read, eat or just relax. Water features abound, and the pool area is the nicest I have seen in Ashland. We go down to Ashland every year for the Shakespeare Festival, and we will definitely be staying at the Palm next year when we go again.

I have had the opportunity to stay at The Palm a couple of times. One time was with a friend. She and I were visiting other friends in Ashland. Another time was with my husband, on our way home from a weekend up north. Both times, we enjoyed the pool area. We walked the grounds and found several places to... More

My friend stays at this motel every year and enjoys it. We went together and split the cost. It is an old motel that has been ----- kind of updated. It is boutique -- some may say but at $ 214 a night I was disappointed. The pool area is great and the grounds are beautiful. It is walkable to... More

Thank you for your review. In response to your concern about the room rate, we would like to add that your room rate was actually $195 per night. As you know, in the Ashland area, a rate under $200 is highly competitive and significantly lower than similarly equipped hotels for the dates of your peak-season stay. We appreciate your business... I had to cancel my reservation one day past their ridiculous 2 week in advance policy. I had not read the reservation carefully and assumed like EVERY hotel that there would be at the most 48 hour notice to cancel. I was shocked to find out it was 2 weeks! My reason for cancellation was that I had just gotten... More

Thank you for sharing your concerns. It is unfortunate that you never stayed with us and therefore never experienced the property or our hospitality. We provide guests with our cancellation policy in full in advance of ever placing their reservations, so it should not be a surprise to you that we expect guests to respect that we are a small... I wouldn't stay anywhere else on my next trip to Ashland. We were celebrating our 48 anniversary the night we stayed here and we were going to go out to a nice place for dinner. However, we were so happy at The Palms, that we decided to get take out food and eat on our private little deck and enjoy... More

I loved my stay at this old fashioned motel, with great upgrades. Enjoyed the nicely remodeled rooms (with A/C, free wi-fi), great beds, cabanas poolside, swimming in the pool at the end of a very hot day, and relaxing outside under the trees in the very lovely old fashioned gardens. Less than a block walk to a very trendy breakfast... More

Stayed one night but very pleasant environment, clean and dog friendly (with a pet fee). Outside areas for sitting and relaxing and a pool with cabana's to rent. Gardens are well maintained and the bed comfortable. Coffee and tea available at the desk and the staff very helpful for good restaurants and things to see. Definitely a return.

My friend and I stayed at The Palm for two nights as part of a getaway for OSF, wine-tasting and shopping in the Rogue Valley. It was the perfect choice!! The Palm is beautiful with lovely grounds and an abundance of gorgeous blooming flowers. Be sure to bring your bathing suit and make time to lounge by the pool. It... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Palm ....it was a very hot day, and we loved sitting in one of the many outdoor spaces to transition into the cooler evening . The gardens are beautiful...the rooms are small, but certainly nice. The bed was comfortable, and it was quiet....all very important to us. The hosts were very welcoming and had a... More

Stayed at the Palm for 3 nights with two friends recently. When I heard that we had booked a "renovated 50s motel" I was, shall we say, skeptical. But, boy, what a pleasant surprise! We stayed in the two bedroom cabin (room 14) for the first two nights - big comfy beds, deep shower with more nozzles than I knew... More
