Ashland is a place filled with character and so is the Palm. The Palm is a cozy oasis located across from the college and about a 3 minute drive from downtown. Peace and quiet great you when you drive in. The Palm looks like an older motel that had a makeover. Flowers, trees, fountains and calm lighting make this place... More

On the road, lodging is hit or miss. Most often miss. We've had a lot of misses recently. But The Palm is perfect. The staff is incredibly friendly. The room we stayed in was nothing short of elegant. And honest - meaning it is what it is, it knows what it is, and it makes the most of everything it... More

We saw this very sweet place on our way out of town. When we came back we were lucky to find a queen suite...with kitchenette & adorable surroundings. The grounds are beautiful & comfy to read & relax. They have a heated salt water pool with cabanas that are relaxing & almost meditative. The room was a very reasonable &... More

As everyone notes, the rooms are "cute". Staff was very pleasant and helpful and the rooms clean and quiet. We stayed in the Sunrise Suite and it was fine but lacked space for hanging and storing items. There were virtually no surfaces and no drawers. The location is fine, just a couple of minutes from downtown and the OSF. We... More

I'm not sure which room the other reviewers stayed but we stayed in room 12 and it was wonderful. Interior was just fine. The layout of the room was very good. There were 2 of us and the 2 beds were separated in 2 rooms with a curtain and very private. If you are traveling with a friend and want... More

While one of the few places actually available by the time we booked, there's a reason . The only socially redeeming value is that it is in Ashland with the magnificent OSF, good dining options, and is walking distance to the Morningglory. Rooms, while not cheap, are cramped and decorated in what looks like bad Salvation Army, but what some... More

A gussied up old motel, but so cute! Many thoughtful touches and attentive staff. My daughter and I stayed in a large room in a house adjacent and everything was very nice. We had a small kitchen. Cabana rental was fun and not too expensive. Nice to relax by the pool before going to plays. Morning Glory restaurant nearby is... More

We love this makeover of an old motel. The gardens, pool and cabanas, water features and other touches create an inviting oasis. We can't wait to relax poolside or in the gardens after a long drive or day at play. It is a short walk to the main parts of downtown. The prices are reasonable as well!

Loved everything about the Palm. The grounds offer several places to sit and read, eat or just relax. Water features abound, and the pool area is the nicest I have seen in Ashland. We go down to Ashland every year for the Shakespeare Festival, and we will definitely be staying at the Palm next year when we go again.

I have had the opportunity to stay at The Palm a couple of times. One time was with a friend. She and I were visiting other friends in Ashland. Another time was with my husband, on our way home from a weekend up north. Both times, we enjoyed the pool area. We walked the grounds and found several places to... More
