We had a great stay at the Ashland Springs Hotel and went to The Pirates of Penzance at the Elizabethan Stage. Very convenient to the Stage as just a short block away. Larks restaurant onsite always has great local food. My wife and I also really enjoy Pepper Thai (she really loves there lamb special) but all the food is... More

The room was very pleasant. It was light and airy. On checking in my room was down free, having indicated my allergy before hand (I didn't have to call and have it changed out). It was also very tiny with a queen size bed and just enough room to walk around, a small desk overstuffed with things, not meant to... More

The Ashland Springs Hotel is our hotel of choice when we attend the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At nine stories high, it was once the tallest building between San Francisco and Seattle! It has maintained high standards throughout the last 10+ years, since we started to regularly attend the OSF. The common areas are beautiful, a mix of funky and classic,... More

After a really wonderful first experience here for Mother's Day this year, both with our room, and a lovely dinner at the hotel restaurant, Larks, I was happy to return in mid July on our way to Portland for another equally wonderful overnight stay. Our corner King on the 4th floor in the front was spacious, comfortable, bright and offered... More

We have stayed here many times, and although the rooms are small because of the age of the hotel, we have always enjoyed our stay. This hotel is so convenient for the theaters and the restaurants, the parking is easy and free, and everything is always spotless.

This is our favorite place to stay in Ashland when we want something really special. This old hotel has lots of glamour and charm, and is well maintained by the owners and staff. It's always a delight to stay here.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights while I attended a conference held at the hotel. The hotel is extremely well located, just a block from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival theatres. However, I was disappointed with the rooms and amenities in the hotel. The rooms are tiny. "Small" overestimates the size of the room. Ours was scarcely big... More

At the price I paid, I was expecting a full service hotel, with bell staff and valet parking. We got holiday Inn service. The continental breakfast was sad, the afternoon tea was just that, tea; and the evening snack was second rate cookies.

This hotel is perfectly located for attending plays at the Elizabethan and New theaters. Both are within a two to three block relatively flat walk (my handicapped husband made it with his cane). It is right on the main street through town, perfect for walking to shops and for the 4th of July parade. There are several restaurants close by... More
