During my stay, I expected to see Basil Fawlty appear at any moment. I can't contain my dissapointment . The room (#412) was so small that you couldn't open the bathroom door and closet door at the same time. There was not even room for a dresser or chest of drawers. At $170 for the night it was absolutely outrageous.... More

GREAT Place to stay while in Ashland. Staff was very friendly and personable. It was our 27th Anniversary and they upgraded us to a corner room with a fabulous view. They even had an anniversary card signed by the staff waiting in our room. This was our second time staying at this hotel and would fully recommend it to anyone... More

We stayed 3 days at this hotel and the location is it's best asset. The room we had was a good size because we ask for a larger room with two beds and a sitting area - I understand a lot of the rooms are small. Beds were comfortable and we had lots of light as it was a corner... More

This is a historic hotel right in the center of Ashland - walking distance to all the entertainment and good restaurants. It's been renovated and is very attractive. The lobby is a wonderful example of its era and there's plenty of free parking. The downsides are that (1) its rooms are very small, consistent with what would be expected in... More

This hotel was built in 1925 and is listed in the historic hotels of America. This property is very ornate. The rooms are nice but small. Ask for a corner room overlooking the valley. Great locaton in the center of town. The staff is very helpful. A continental breakfast is included and is very good. If you like historic properties... More

I've stayed here many times. It's an historic hotel with perfect access to the Shakespeare Festival theaters. In fact, if you hustle, you can dash back to your room during intermission and return to theater before the curtain goes back up! Be advised, though, the standard rooms are quite small. Everything is super clean and well-appointed and an expanded continental... More

This hotel is in a great location. The staff at check-in counter were very friendly. Nice amenities. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great view from our room. The extended continental breakfast was very nice along with cookies and munchies on the mezzanine level after returning from an evening play at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. On the... More

First off the front desk was friendly and helpful. The bed was a delight and so comfortable that I hated to get up in the morning. Selection for breakfast was wide and very good with a pleasant surrounding. Perfect location for viewing a play. Wonderful in every way.

Hotel is beautiful. I slept very well the bed was really comfortable. I loved being a higher floor to have the beautiful view. My room was spectacular with a king bed and sitting area. They do lack in later night food service though, it would be nice if there was at least an option to buy snacks and beverages in... More

The hotel has an European feel: the rooms are of Okay size and Okay decor but clean. The bathroom was small...small single sink, no bathtub in the King View room. They offer an Okay continental breakfast (the bagels are awful). Service was Okay Plus. The best thing that the hotel has to offer is their location...i.e.: next to the theaters.... More
