5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We stopped in Ashland, Oregon, to attend one of the excellent Oregon Shakespeare Festival offerings and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. It was the nicest of their US properties we've visited: gracious staff, nicely appointed and proportioned room, easy parking, beautifully decorated breakfast room with good yogurts, eggs, breakfast meats, and the usual carbs, and easy access to town.... In a very nice spot right off of I-5, but close to downtown Ashland and a few nice restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are okay and average as is the breakfast, but adequate. I stayed 3 nights, but most people are only going to stay there on the way to somewhere else, so it would work well for that. Great... More

My daughter and I were visiting the Medford, OR area, but flew into Sacramento, CA and drove the four hours to OR. We were looking for a nice place to say to allow us the shortest possible drive arriving and departing by air. This location was great - just off the highway, but not noisy. The hotel is near a... Nothing overly exceptional about this place. Average motel/hotel as a place to stay. It was clean and the breakfast was decent. Just fine for a one night stay while on the road. Amenities are relatively close by. Staff seemed friendly. Easy on and off of I-5.

Standard HIE, but I thought the room was smaller then other HIE properties where we have stayed. Clean, friendly staff. Our only complaint is the slamming doors on floor 3. Guests are not courteous enough to close them gently so I think the doors need some adjustment. Breakfast was fine. Next door to Caldera Brew Pub and also a quick... More

We stayed here on our way home from California. The staff are friendly and accomodating. We noticed a school bus parked in front of the hotel when we arrived around 10:00pm, and noticed a lot of high schoolers in the breakfast room. We asked if we could have a room away from their rooms because we were really tired from... More

Easy access to freeway and about 1 mile from downtown Ashland. Newer Construction, efficient staff and clean hotel. There isn't much surrounding the hotel except for other hotels and fast food places but is is extremely close to the downtown area which has tons of shops, good quality resturants, pubs and the theatres. Wifi was strong, room was quiet and... More

We have stayed at this hotel several times. The rooms are always clean, and the breakfast is good. It is nice to be able to walk to eat lunch/dinner, now that the Caldera Brewery/Restaurant is located next door; there are also a couple of other restaurants in walking distance too. I do feel though, that for the cost of the... More

Standard HIE on the side of I5, convenient stop for I5 travelers. The rooms on the opposite side of I5 are very quiet, I am not sure about those facing the road. Although a couple of miles away from downtown, on busy days of the Shakespeare festival it can be a viable alternative to downtown hotels. Clean, quiet, easy to... More

Read the previous person's review. I stayed the same weekend. Terrible service, superficially mildly-trained staff at front desk that offered no solution regarding cold shower. COLD showers. I took a sponge bath with cold water. Felt gross, was attending an event that day and had to attend with gross hair. I called front desk at 8 am and the attendant... More
