We have been staying at the Ashland HI Express since it opened. The hotel just finished a major renovation. We attend the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and stay at the hotel - even though it isn't within walking distance of the theaters and downtown Ashland. The staff at the hotel is always cordial and helpful. The rooms are quiet in spite... more

This was the first stop on a 12 day road trip. We found the hotel to be very clean, comfortable and accomodating. The rooms were very spacious. The hotel is new and in a good location. The complimentary hot breakfast in the morning had something for everyone in our family. more

Stayed just one night in Ashland (as a stop between our home in Eastern Washington and our final destination in Northern California). We typically pick Holiday Inn Express locations because they usually accept dogs (as did this one); they are not too expensive; and I usually get pretty good service as I am a Platinum member of Holiday Inn's frequent... more

I stayed there for two nights and really enjoyed my stay. Front desk and other staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a full breakfast bar, very ample food. The breakfast room is rather small though and on one day there was no place to sit and I had to take the breakfast plate outside to eat. The bedroom... more

We have always been curious about this hotel because it looks clean, new, and has an indoor pool, but were hesitant to stay there b/c it was not within walking distance from the theaters. On this short trip with just my husband and 2 kids (both less than 5 years old), we decided to try it out. The front desk... more

Ashland, OR is a great side trip from Crater Lake. We checked out the other hotels in the area, and this was the best location and value for the price. It's just minutes from downtown Ashland, and the rooms are fairly modern, kind of sparsely decorated, with wonderful beds and pillows. Fridge and microwave in room and free breakfast can't... more

This was not a good hotel...From the get-go the hotel was dingy and dirty. I was also foolish enough to expect a hotel advertised as non-smoking to have rooms that did not reek from cigarette smoke. I tried two different rooms and both had the same problem. But it was Saturday night during the Shakespeare Festival and other hotels were... more

We had a reservation for a king bed with a jacuzzi tub. The reservation was confirmed. We went to get our reservation and they gave us a room with two queen beds and no hot tub. I went down to the receptionist and she did confirm my reservation. She stated there were none available. I hasked how there could not... more

This was 1 of the best of 7 hotels at which we stayed on our 2 week vacation. It was great to have 2 TVS - 1 in front of the sofa and 1 by the beds. We also were able to have the choice of the style of pillows and had the convenience of a microwave and fridge. The... more

Booked on Priceline. Rated 2 Stars by Priceline. As soon as I got reservation number, called and easliy changed room to King. When we arrived the desk staff was college-age and dressed a little a bit too revealing. Seemed like she was sitting there surfing the net- not professional at all. My wife made a comment when we checked out... more
