This is not the Ritz, and it is only motel we could find in the small town of Arlington on the banks of the mighty Columbia river, however it was just what we needed after a long drive in the eastern Oregon desert, with gas getting low, and darkness looming. When traveling I-84, we always stop at Arlington for the park and restrooms. I have wanted an occasion to try this motel for years. It always seemed to have many vehicles in the lot. This is the absolute last motel you should stay in if you have ANY qualms about sticky bedspreads or blood splatter patterns on the walls.
