Arch Cape Inn Aug 31 2008 Used to be a quaint quite place we came to frequently-new management has made it an undesireable place to stay.Room was dirty and not cleaned once during our 4 day stay-had to borrow tiolet paper from another room. Garbage was over flowing and racoons scattered it all over the driveway-notified owners but they did... more

We've come back year after year through the last four owners. You'll either love the place or not. We like the old knotty pine interiors, river rock fire places, less people on the beach, making channels and dams in Arch Cape Creek, the Arch Cape Deli next door, Hug Point, and Pig-n-Pancake in Cannon Beach. We liked it more before... more

We were not impressed with this Inn.. to start off.. the code we were given for our keys also worked on 4 of the other rooms. we were in the wrong room at first..they put your reservation confirmation on the table.. thank goodness the peoples room we were in were not going to be there till the following day.. second... more

•As the manager of this property, I personally change the lock box codes and can attest that none of the rooms have now or have ever had the same lock box codes. •The door locks on all rooms are fully functional. The room in question has a loose interior knob trim which does not effect the functionality of the lock....

I found the Inn At Arch Cape via their website, and was hoping for a quiet, restful weekend at the beach which proved to be difficult given the room. The room was nicely decorated and charming with lots of original architectural details. You won't find "beach tacky" at this inn. The kitchen and bathroom were decently stocked although the only... more

•We were not informed that there was only Decaf Coffee in the room, or we could have rectified the problem. The showers are small, but a standard size … probably not what one would chose for their home, but what fits the space allowed. •We make no representation of the inn being located anywhere other than on the corner of...

My husband and I decided to take advantage of some dry September weather and spend a couple of nights, mid-week, on the Oregon Coast. We decided on the Inn at Arch Cape after getting many recommendations from friends who have lived in Oregon for many years. We drove from our home in Portland to Cannon Beach, which is approximately 90... more

I checked in to the Inn on a stormy and blustery friday evening, what a treat to walk into such a cozy and charming room, the river rock fireplace with REAL wood to burn, a fire already laid for us all we needed was a match. Needless to say I felt like I was at my parents beach cabin. The... more

I was a little concerned after reading some previous guest's reviews but after a three day stay we found all of the complaints to be unfounded. This was a wonderful, cozy little place that came complete with a well stocked kitchen and a wood burning fireplace! It's more like having your own little beach cabin than having a run-of-the-mill hotel... more

Lesson learned -- ALWAYS check the TripAdvisor reviews before booking a place. This place would be fine for a rustic "place to crash" if that is all one reequires, but there is nothing to recommend it beyond that. It is priced like an upscale lodging which it ISN'T, and in retrospect, we would have done much better (and at less... more

This has to have been one of the most unpleasant experiences we've had! It's too bad our first experience with the Oregon coast started with staying at this Inn. As one of the other reviewers stated, the person who took the pictures for the website did a great job. In the photo and even in reality, the rooms are very... more

I recently spent a week at the Inn at Arch Cape and while my first impression was that the person who took the pictures for the website did an excellent job making the place look nicer than it really is, I'd still recommend someone stay here. If you do, make sure you book one of the rooms that faces the... more
