I booked a King suite room, so that it had a separate bedroom and living area. I did this so our two year old would have a place apart from us to sleep. The room was directly behind the front counter, it smelled of chlorine and had loud traffic noise. We asked if there were any other rooms, there was... more

We stayed here twice. Once going north, and once going south. Good clean basic room. I would suggest that you ask for a room overlooking the parking lot (that's the front) as our second visit was a room on the back and that street is very noisy and not fun when you're deciding to sleep with the window open, or... more

Had no choice but to stay there... volleyball team chose the hotel. Our family will not be back. It was very inexpensive, I think we only paid $75/night, but it wasn't worth more, that is for sure. Our rooms were in the "bunker", as my son called it. :) Definitely basement. Our only window was right near the super low... more

I had been driving for a very long time and couldn't make it to Portland, so decided to stop over in Albany. Called the 800 number for La Quinta and they said that there was a vacancy that night at their Albany property, so I booked it. The check-in was with a girl who worn braces on her teeth and... more

I have had pretty good experiences in La Quinta hotels, but this one was a disaster....I was told my room # was 117 which I assumed was on the first floor- nope! it is in a 'half-basement' the window is at ground level and has no security latch. A window air conditioner with a broken knob and grille occupies half... more

This hotel is a wonderful little gem. The bed in my room had a pillow top on the mattress and it felt like a big feather bed, way better than my own bed! The room decor was pretty and items were well placed though the room was small. There was also a nice quality multiple setting shower head in the... more

Not completely terrible but not okay either (helpful, friendly staff a big plus)...The biggest problem we encountered while staying at the Albany La Quinta was the traffic noise, it was really awful and was so not worth the reduced rate we paid. The cost in lost sleep and jangled nerves was way too high. To make matters worse the room... more

Advertised as a pet friendly Inn. You will pay about 90 dollars for a small room with dated decor, a small pool open sometimes, and a workout room that really is just a hotel room under renovation with a few pieces of broken equipment. The breakfast is usual rolls and coffee with some eggs occassionally making a visit. Next to... more
