I recently stayed at Ohio University Inn . I love being so close to campus so I did pay the ridiculous amount for Moms weekend. Upon checking in as soon as I walked in the room I noticed the mirror was dirty on the closet door . Then I noticed the room had not been dusted (very dusty)and there was... More

My Husband and I recently stayed at Ohio University Inn to attend a event at the OU Campus. The location is excellent if you need to be close to OU. We had dinner at the Bar our first evening which has a bar menu, as well as the menu for Cutler's Restaurant which is on-site as well. I had the... More

We stayed one night. Clean hotel very close/easy access to Ohio University. They were renovating some rooms and front of hotel (March, 2015) so minor inconvenience. The desk and restaurant staff was very friendly and helpful. The OU Inn has several buildings so request main building to be close to lobby and/or restaurant or pub. The patio rooms are nice... Stayed here for one night. Was a little cramped for a family of 4. Beds were OK, but made me miss my bed at home. Walls seemed to be a little thin. The layout of the hotel was odd. Seemed like there wasn't an easy way to get from lobby to front desk.

I am an Ohio University alumni and this was not my first stay at the OU Inn. There are many other chain hotel options in the area, but this facility is the closest to campus. You can easily walk to the trial that goes along the Hocking River, the football stadium, basketball arena, baseball fields and West Green. The rest... More

My room was fine - but they are remodeling rooms and it is a Mess! Plus housekeeping was not so great. I was there 5 nights - and it was weird. One day they cleaned everything in the room, and left my bed unmade? Then the next day, they left dirty things ( a coffee cup...) and the bed was... More

Thank you very much for your valued feedback regarding your stay with us. I am disappointed it did not meet your expectations, as we are always trying to do nothing short of exceeding them. Your concerns regarding our complete room upgrade and the condition of the zone our crew is currently working on have been addressed. Our team has revisited... More

LOCATION: This hotel is located on Richland Avenue, adjacent to Ohio University and about a 10-minute walk from downtown Athens. GETTING THERE: The nearest airports to Athens are Columbus, Ohio (about 1.5 hours) and Parkersburg, West Virginia (about 45 minutes). Far more airlines fly to Port Columbus Airport than Parkersburg, so the fares to Columbus are certainly cheaper. Ohio University... More

As I had business at Ohio University, stayed at the just off-campus Inn. Very comfortable and genuinely warm staff greeting me on a very cold day. Room was warm and adequate, though it could use some updating (I understand that the Inn is in the process of doing just that). I was very impressed with the facilities and the remarkable... More

I had a meeting at the University. The staff was really nice to me. I needed a late arrival and late check out. The staff accommodated me without any issues. There is a Starbucks in the lobby area but everything closes at night. It also has a pretty garden area which may be nice if the weather is warm. I... More

As alumni we always chose to stay here as it is the only hotel in walking distance of Uptown. It books quickly during mom/dad weekend, homecoming, graduation, etc. we usually try to go to Athens to visit our alma mater during off times when the students aren't there. We get a large group of us to go together and can... More
